Can't say for sure, but I bet it does. You might have to fiddle with it, change some compatibility settings, or maybe there's a patch, but my money would say it works.
On Windows 7 Premium, you are given the exclusive ability to unearth the hidden FLAC versions of the entire soundtrack, providing you with a most pristine and grandiose auditory experience. Perhaps the best you'll ever have the pleasure of being graced by in a Final Fantasy VII game.
Too bad about us Ultimate users then. Guess I'll have to downgrade.
Even if it didn't, compatibility mode solves everything.

*already has FFVII on the pc* yes, you can use a game pad on it, just have to go into the game options and edit the pad to reflect what control setup you want, its also very handy as you (or I) can use the stick to run about with (as apposed to the D-Pad) but I still map the D-Pad in aswell as it makes thumbing through the menu a little easier.
Back to the audio options. Will the music sound more like the PS1 original using a Soundblaster AWE64 Gold with the custom soundfont that comes with the game or using a Yamaha db50xg?
