Mid-Year Ciddies 2012 - VOTING CLOSED

Congratulations on completing your nominations, humans! This was an interesting round and there were a lot of categories where there wasn't any one standout, but things still managed to shake out all right.

Let's aim for having votes in by Thursday, June 21 so we can have the Ciddies on Friday, June 22. That's about six days and I have full faith that you organics can do this, because this is easier than nominations. If this turns out to be difficult for people we can extend it by a couple of days and have the Ciddies the following Monday, but Friday is more fun for everyone, don't you think?

So without further ado, here are the awards. You may vote for one individual per category except for Best Member, where you may vote for your top three, ranked in order. First place votes will be worth 3 points, second place will be worth 2 points, and third place 1 point. If you ignore this and only vote for one person, it will count as a single first place vote worth 3 points. Best Member is the only award where you do this, the others are voted on as normal.

And yes there are a ton of nominees for Best Member. That was one tight nomination race.

Quite a few, actually. Everyone who has voted so far has voted for either all or a great majority of the awards.

Alright! To give everyone a time limit, voting shall end at midnight GMT on Friday June 22. That is equal to 7pm EST on Thursday June 21, or 4pm PST on Thursday June 21. In other words, you have a little over twentyfour hours to submit your votes.

Votes shall then be tabulated and numbers will be crunched and the Ciddies will happen 7pm GMT Friday June 22. (2pm EST, 11am PST). I tried to pick a time that would enable members from various time zones around the world to participate in at least some of the awards. Be there or be a regular quadrilateral with four equal sides and four right angles!

Whoever is controlling Award Person this year is failing miserably. By this time last year, I had already received multiple PMs demanding and threatening that I at least attempt to vote in the Ciddies. I have received none so far.
