Let's get some speeches done! Claim one! Then send them to me for COLLECTION. You can take more than one if you feel up to it OR 12! As long as we get them done! The color Red will represent that the category is claimed with the name of whomever claimed it. Green Will be completed. Get to claiming and writing! Try to avoid the ones you're in if you can!

I'm hoping I don't have to write about myself. Not because I dislike writing about myself, but you know, I'd rather have someone write about me.

This is why it's suggested that we write speeches for awards that we're not up for. I might write another speech after I'm done with my next one, so put me up for 38 and 39 as possible speeches. Not guaranteed, but I put me up for them. Others can also write them if I don't somehow get to them.

Can someone choose #37 and do it if I end up winning it? Jiro, I know you're a good boy.

Yeah, we use to be a bit more fidgety about that but since we have less activity with the ciddies, I just want them done!

Excuse my transparency here but this is the first time I have participated in such a thing;

How do we complete a speech before we know who even won?

Basically, it's just introduction of the Ciddie's nominees, and/or explaining why each nominee deserves to win. Each speech are done differently so you can write your speech however you like.

Here's an example of a speech done by Jiro during last year's End-of-Year Ciddies.

I was actually going to ask you to write some speeches anyway, Sylvie. I'm glad you came to the decision yourself, I'm sure you'll entertain us with a very different approach.

So eleven speeches are in with my Sephex collaboration in the works. I don't recall what the record for most speeches in a Ciddies was, but I believe Tavrobel still holds the record. 17 seems to be a familiar number. I might try and shoot for the top.

So apparently I once wrote 23 speeches. Gotta put it a bit more effort if I wanna do half of it.

#25 is currently being written by #eoff incl. the likes of Bubbaforever, foa, Jiro, Sephex with cameos from Jentleness and Happy Noodle Boy.

Put me down for Best Artist as well. I have a speech in the work being made for that.

You'll have to fight dakoda, he wrote one for that and I was just in the process of editing it. HE NEEDS TO CLAIM THINGS BEFORE HE DOES THEM. Since he already has a bajillion I will accept yours over his heh if you send it in.

Either one. You can send them to me and I'll forward them to award bot or you can eliminate the middle man and just send them to award bot. I haven't sent award bot any of them yet cause I was going to send them in bulk heh.

I have to say I am extremely impressed with how well the speeches are going this time around. Seriously, this kind of stuff makes the Ciddies!

I'm pretty pumped up to see how people react to something I helped Jiro work on for this.

Ciddies start in an hour and a half. Be sure to get any last-minute speeches in by then!

This is the most speeches I've done for the Ciddies since we've had a three-headed host!

Wrote or collaborated in exactly 25 speeches, exactly half. I didn't think I would get there, but by golly gosh I did. That's my curtain call then. No more speeches from Jiro!

Seriously good speeches, everyone. When you consider the spread of quality speeches throghout the entire event, I'd say they added up to the best speech set in Ciddies history. :)
