Bot thread aside, that is actually a very difficult question.
Are we talking sitcoms? Panel Shows? Individual comedian shows? What type of comedy show?
Panel Show it'd have to be Mock the week or QI
Sitcom would be Big Bang Theory
Individual Comedian show would be Russell Howards Good News.
My all time favourite Comedy Show is Weeds. it's awesome show. i like it.
Community, definitely Community. I'm also fond of Wilfred, but that's another kind of comedy.
I thought you were talking about shows from the Comedy TV channel which only has two shows...
Not difficult at all. It's The Simpsons.
Parks and Recreation!! YEAH!
It's so smart, hilarious, and has such a great cast of characters. Even the little side characters are tremendous. I think it's as funny as The Office was in it's prime, but with even more heart.
And there's puppies. And waffles. Best show everrr!
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Father Ted.
I spend the most time probably looking at Family Guy. It's a toss up though between Friends or Father Ted.
Red Dwarf.
Nothing will ever top The Office for me.
My favorite comedy shows are:
-Big Bang Theory
-Glee
-Two and A Half Men
-How I met your mother
-Family Guy
Well Tig, they took the bait.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is great.
Now that I've been reminded, I'm going to have to go back and check out Parks and Recreation.
Father Ted
Green Wing
Seinfeld
Frasier
Reeves & Mortimer
The League Of Gentlemen
Morecambe & Wise
Alan Partridge
Nathan Barley
Blackadder
Only Fools And Horses
Friends
If there is any of the above you haven't heard of you should be smurfing ashamed of yourselves
Either that or you live in America where there's better stuff on.
Also, Arrested Development.
I'm going to give a mention to NewsRadio. Especially the Phil Hartman seasons.
Definitely Arrested Development. Futurama is also good but nothing holds a candle to AD.
Newsradio is fantastic, even if some of the episodes got a bit hokey in the later seasons. Phil Hartman was perhaps the best thing to ever happen to television.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is something I rarely watch, but it's always like a rare dessert when I catch it on. Bonus desserts if I just happen to be high when I notice that it's on.
I also really loved The Office, Home Movies, Futurama, Frasier, Seinfeld...
But I will say that I smurfing detest The Big Bang Theory. Worst smurfing thing ever.
I thought I was the only one who thought it was funny when drug-dealing mothers are threatened with rape.Quote:

FRISKY DINGO
TIM AND ERIC
archer saved my life
i have season 1 on dvd and will get the other ones too eventually
Arrested mothersmurfing Development.
I completely forgot about Tim & Eric and Check it Out!. Those are some of the best comedy shows to ever surface.
Wings?
A show that is sold as a comedy but is truly becoming something much more: Louie on FX.
It is quite possibly the best show on TV right now, bar none. I suggest you check it out. Written, Directed, Edited and Starring the one and only Louie CK.
Other then that:
Classic Simpsons
Monty Python
Arrested Development
Community
The Boondocks
Take care all.
I thought this was a bot thread until I realized Tigmafuzz made it. Then I just realized it's a drunk thread.

In 2012 I learned that bots have a sense of humor too. Perhaps we are not so different after all!
It is only a matter of time till we assimilate with you humans.
Of course they do. Pike is hilarious.
Watch Whose Line is it Anyway? Free!
comedy is my favorite genre having a long list of comedy shows, but some of my favorite are:
-Family Guy
-Friends
-Glee (Also favorite in musical)
-Big Bang theory
-American Dad

Hey hey, be nice. Bots have feelings too.
One day discrimination of Bots will be frowned upon. :p
Oh my God, why are you letting them live, Murd? Mod me for five minutes, their presence displeases me.
I'm studying them to see how they work so that one day we can destroy them at the source.
Started off strong and failed after 2, Edward Cullen.

Futurama
Louie
Family Guy (certain years)
Martin
The Little Rascals old school on ya asses
Futurama
South Park
Family Guy
That 70's Show
Just Shoot Me
Becker
Cheers
30 Rock
Reno 911
I love Just Shoot Me.
Well, the Ultimate Greatest comedy show ever is friends, but these days I am totally into ABC's latest comedy show 'Baby Daddy'.
Man he's not even advertising anything. Just "Party."
It said "Party." and now it says "portable countertop dishwashers" hahahahaha
30 Rock
Big Bang Theory
Futurama
How I Met Your Mother
The Office
The Simpsons
...Might be missing some.
That's a hard question but i would go with It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The Big Bang Theory
Arrested Development.
Futurama and 30 Rock are probably my favourites of the moment.
I do watch How I Met Your Mother and Big Bang Theory too, but they're often not hugely wonderful. Just something to pass the time with.
I like Futurama but I don't think the new run is anywhere near the quality of the original.
Definitely not, they have lost some charm along the way, which is a shame really.
If you get past the whole show being one fast, random train of thought nowadays it actually isn't any worse than it was a few years ago. It's just slightly differently paced and the topics are a bit stranger than you would expect, even from Futurama. Groening's just getting old.
The new episodes aren't as good as the old ones but they haven't gotten as much worse as Family Guy has. That show has been pretty much terrible ever since they brought it back, while Futurama is still rather good.
The simple fact that not every post in this thread is re-affirming Whose Line is it Anyway is a smurfing crime.
And while were at it, The Drew Carry Show = Greatest Sitcom.
And Desert Punk is funny too, but I dont' know if that ever aired in the US. Perhaps on the Anime Channel, but I never know what shows do or do not air on it. :p
My name is Gordon Freeman. I was sent here on a mission to murder a member of your forum. I will search for them, silently vigilant, and then when the time comes, I will slam my crowbar into their chest until I crack open their ribs and pull their heart free from its resting place.
three pages
no mention of louie
all of you go take four laps and hit the shower
Guess I need to hit the showers then.
Happy Endings is currently my favorite.
I'll stick with Archer. What I love most about that show is how well it pulls off serious when necessary.
My parents can't stand Ricky Gervais and that alone is one of the reasons I like him as a comic. Admittedly though if he were a comedian 24/7, I'd have to shoot him. I like his performances in the Invention of Lying and Ghost Town.
Anyway, yeah, Ricky Gervais Show, Life's Too Short, Family Guy and other stuff by Seth MacFarlane, Robot Chicken, South Park, Simpsons and other stuff with David X. Cohen
Big Bang Theory and Modern Family are the sitcoms I like to watch... and New Girl!
I dunno if it quite counts but I LOVE Red Dwarf. Cannot wait for it to come back on!
I love Modern Family, Lockharted! :D
My all time favorite Comedy Show is Simpson. This show is full of entertainment.I like this show very much.
Not exactly a standard comedy, but Suits makes me laugh more than any comedy does, so... yeah. :)
