Are there still open UK meetups? OFFICIAL PJ AND DUNCAN FAN THREAD

By "open" I'm referring to those like the one I attended back in 2007, though I know some of the "inner" circle that know each other better have met on other occasions.

Just curious, after seeing the thread by Jessweeeeeeeeeeee (bugger me but where the hell do I stop without the name in front as a reference?! Damn do I love your name!) and considering I've not been back for all that long (relative to when I joined) I can't say as I've been able to notice what EoFF's UK user-base does with regards to IRL socialisation these days.

Does it still happen? Are they still roughly the same month (i.e. April) each year?

Don't think anyone has actively tried to do one for a while. You should start one right now.

Do you mean "meet ups" or "meat ups" because it's an important distinction.

I think the last few have fallen through but I'm sure if you posted one people would come :D

Hrmm... I don't see why I can't do such a thing as make it summer instead of April. There is this very, very slight chance of my moving back to Stafford (which is like a thirty minute, very cheap train ride from Brummingham) so I wouldn't have many issues with that myself.

We shall have to see. I shall ponder the sayings in this thread and see if I think I can organise a meetup. Sealife Centre all over again would be awesome, as would Psy using me as a personal evil clone bodyguard ^^

Well, what happened was we all kinda grew up, got jobs and couldn't do meet ups any more because getting time off like that wasn't easily achieved. However it'd be cool to do something again. Just so long as we're not subjected to any more instances of PiP dick and DK comes for once.

I'm still disappointed that I didn't manage to capture the actual throw itself, only the aftermath. Karo Parisyan would have been proud of that effort, and my photography skills let you down. I hope you have forgiven me. :(
