There are two options here, for me.
Option one is relish.
Option two is chili and cheese.
Option two is superior but I'll go with option one sometimes.

I usually put ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard on my hot dogs. That is only a secondary option, though. The Sonic the Hedgehog comics from the early/mid-nineties got me hooked on chilidogs.
Onions and mustard always. Sometimes ketchup.
Mayo, ketchup, little mustard, relish, onions is option one. Option two is chili and cheese <3
Nothing.

chili and cheese or cheese, ketchup, and sweet pickle relish. Dill works too if I don't have sweet.

Bacon, cheese, onion, tomato or bbq sauce. If tomato then perhaps also mustard. If bbq then no.
I just really like ketchup.

I like to put sauteed onions, jalapenos, bacon, and mushrooms with ketchup and mustard. Also maybe cheese.
I also like chillidogs with cheese and mustard. (with real hotdog chilli, not the crap Megan mentioned.)
I also like them with chipolte, or crushed up bbq potato chips.
Boston style with a poppy seed bun, tomato, onion, and those little green peppers is good.
Knockwurst are superior to bratwurst.
Every toping available by the vendor. Not kidding
Dammit, now I want a hot dog. In fact I want several hot dogs, to try some of the things mentioned in here. I'm going to end up with a hot dog fetish like Zell :p
For a normal hot dog, tomato ketchup. Maybe a slice of pre-sliced cheese tucked in there, you know, the weird processed stuff that resembles plastic more than cheese. Might as well do bad food properly :D
For bratwurst: sauerkraut and German mustard, of course.
