I like Bards because smurf you.
I like the Trainer, it is a fun class to play with. :p
Monks were pretty much always my favourite. With four monks, I could pulverise pretty much anything, and subjobs took care of the rest.
DRAGOON. Then again I always though the idea of the Bard was awesome as well. So, a clash between those 2.
Geomancers. The Gaia/Earth skill should be in more FF's I could see it being amazingly fun in some of the newer ff's too because locations vary so often.
It's unfortunate that geomancer has the dorkiest looking outfit. It really took away the dramatic air when my Galuf was facing up against Gilgamesh in striped overalls and a little booble hat
Geomancers were definitely one. I thought it was quite a fun class, and certainly one stood out.
I never really bothered with them in-game, but I remember how thrilled I was when I got Dragoons for the first time. I mean, they look really awesome.
I also quite liked Mystic Knights. They don't have particularly brilliant stats, but they're fun to use and they're also quite cool. When I was younger, I always liked to imagine that their swords would look like light sabres when they cast a spell on them.
I like Trainer, something about setting little animals free back into their habitat liberating and rewarding in a word filled with so much evil and impending doom. :)
Dancer, because my party gets to look fabulous as we murder X-Death.
I liked Geomancer, but its limited use prevents it from being the best for me.
I also have a soft spot for the Dragoon job, but then again, in terms of raw power, the best without a doubt is the mime.
In my opinion, there's really no reason not to have 4 mimes in your party by the end of the game.
I like the Archer sprite a lot. If we're talking about the GBA version though, Gladiator all the way. Holy moly overpowered.
Samurai or Mystic Knights are my two favorites. I like their designs and mechanics the best.
I liked using an entire party of Dancers. If I had access to the Gameboy Advance version of the game, I would like using an entire party of Oracles.
White Mage. Incriminatory.
despite a little lack of Strength, my fav is Samurai.
why?
-katanas
-looks cool (esp with Faris)
-they catch an attack with the hands, how cool is that?
I've always loved monks in any game, so that. :p
Of course, I love Geo's too. Mostly I find Elemental to be one of the best secondary skills, or counter elemental is handy.
As a main class I like them, but their use is limited.
Edit: Why did I think we were discussing Tactics? :(
Edit2: Monk is still smurfing awesome in V.
Having played the game on a cartridge, I didn't get the luxury of using save states and found them doing more harm than good overall.
Samurais, Monks and Ninjas, I believe.
I always loved those hyper-powerful physical classes.
Also, GilToss is just downright epic in this game, BEST attack command by far!
5000~ damage on all targets at once = tons of fun.
Monk is always my favorite class but like with the other 4 characters games i tend to use the most traditional classes: Knight, Black Mage, White Mage and Thief... From the beginning to the end!
But since I like Monks it's not impossible that I play an "all Monks" playthrough... :greenie:
Ninjas, Samurais, and Black Mages baby!
In FFV - Ninja and Monk ( can't decide between those two. )
In general - Red Mage, duh.
Red Mage is my favorite but the Samurai in this game are just ridiculous. I always use one.
