Two words: Power Wheels.

For years I wanted this figure, as it was the only one missing from my TaleSpin collection, but my mom could never find it. I finally bought it new on eBay last year, and it felt so satisfying after all of these years!

A Beyblade but to be fair I never actually asked. I could get one myself and fulfill my childhood fantasy but now theyre not as horribly dangerous as they use to be.
Aside from that I also wanted a hoverboard or a flying carpet.
I'm still waiting for my Big Barbie. :(

I wanted the Technodrome least of all, because it was too small. The turtles would break into the Technodrome, not crawl around it like King Kong. I still wanted it though.
A mothersmurfin' pony.
Christmas had always been the one time of year I believed I could finally get something I wanted. Poor old fogies always told me we had no money for that game or this toy. I only remember a single Christmas wherein I was disappointed (not because the other Christmas' gave me what I'd wanted, but because this particular, I got greedy and was rather one-track minded about it). My greed led to a huge list of legos models in a single ad. I wrote the numbers down (that's how you order them for delivery) and as a result of the collection being either too large and confusing or simply too expensive (I didn't actually want all of them, I simply had them all listed as optional, I wanted at least one and couldn't decide between them: a fact I wrote on the list to be clear), anyway, I received a bucket of MegaBlocks. Not a bucket of Legos. MegaBlocks, the beggar's choice when Legos are apparently too expensive. I was raised to make due and figured Santa thought I was too old to be so indecisive and this was his way of telling me to make a clearer call next time. Of course, I found the SANTA'S wrapping paper in the closet a few days later and realized "he" was my parents. Suddenly, it became very clear why I mostly never gotten what I'd actually wanted for Christmas. That day, Christmas pretty much lost it's luster. I still looked forward to gifts and food and family but I no longer got hung up on a gift I wanted or didn't get. I knew we didn't have money for stuff.
A family.
A robot suit
Christmas.

Then I realised she was an annoying character anyway!
A couple of video games I am sure I eventually bought myself years later. I wasn't really picky. Just happy to get what I got!

Looking at this thread reminds me that I was spoiled child. I got everything I asked for on Christmas. Thanks mom and dad! ^_^
An easy bake oven.
I asked for a Gameboy Color one year and my brother got it instead. PS2 a couple years later. Brother got it. 360 after that. Brother got it.
I started seeing the pattern and began asking for things like debilitating diarrhea and halitosis.
All of these. Though I actually asked Santa once to make me a Power Ranger because I wanted a real Megazord. Broke my heart when I didn't wake up being able to turn into an alien-fighting super ninja.
Love
My parents did good for me. I remember I wanted a PS2 for Christmas. 2000, no luck. 2001? Nein. 2002? smurf yeah.
Although I would kill for a trip. I've asked for maybe a short trip or excursion for Christmas a few times and never got one, so maybe this year I'll get one.
i think i wanted a genesis once but didn't get it (though i may not have specifically asked for it)
snes infinitely better anyway
i also didn't get an n64 until like 2 years after it was released wtf (this is a very big part in why i appreciate the snes as much as I do)
I think I got pokemon the same year I got the n64 though ok i'm never complaining about christmas again
Lol, samesies. I think I got the PSX like 4 years after it came out? And the N64 wasn't until like 2000ish. I didn't give a F, I played the crap out of my games back then. I think that's why I'm a Steam hoarder these days.
But it's also why I'm okay buying el cheapo GameStop used copies of games 2+ years after release. I got Assassin's Creed II in a blank GameStop box with no instructions for $5 last summer and it was GLORIOUS.
I wanted a Red Ryder BB Gun with a compass in the stock. My parents kept saying I would shoot my eye out though.
I echo all the Power Wheels, Easy Bake Oven, and Talkboy responses.
I also wanted a Ouija board, but... perhaps it's good I never got one. XD
