Money. Well. Spent.
So, what have you lot bought this Steam sale?

Nada. Way too many games still to play. :x Hopefully I'll be caught up by next(this?) years sale.
I avoided even looking at my Steam account when I learned about the Winter Sale. I still haven't even played the games I bought from the last sale...
What did you buy in the last sale?
Let's see:
Sim City 4
Dishonored
Orcs Must Die Collection
Borderlands 2 Season Pass
Saints Row: The Third
RPG Maker VX Ace
Also others got me:
Fable - The Lost Chapters
DOTA2
Counter Strike collection
Left 4 Dead 1&2
Rainbow Six 3
Ghost Recon
Tomb Raider collection
I've installed less than 50% of the games I've bought on Steam.
Me too, if only because my laptop doesn't have enough space. I have over twenty games, of which only 6 have been downloaded. :(
My dearest boyfriend bought me Secret of the Magic Crystal.
.___.
I wish people would buy me presents on Steam. :(
So far, only Morrowind Game of the Year edition, which I look forward to playing hopefully by the end of the year.
Summer was much worse, with:
Hydrophobia: Prophecy
Oblivion GotY
Risen
Splinter Cell Conviction
FEAR 2
FEAR + expansions
Eschalon: Book I
Nexuiz
SimCity 4 Deluxe
NFS Hot Pursuit
Just Cause 2
Unreal Tournament III
Batman Arkham City
GTA IV
Company of Heroes
Bastion
Hitman: Blood Money
Civ IV + expansions
The Witcher Enhanced Edition
Renegade Ops
Pirates!
Heroes of Might & Magic 5
Splice
and Crusader Kings II's Sword of Islam and Dynasty Shields
So I think I'm probably good on PC games for a while...
I haven't even looked at Steam in a coon's age. Do they have Civ5 available for Mac yet?
Yep. It's Steamplay so if you own the Windows version on Steam, you won't need to buy the Mac version(and vice versa of course).
Is the Steam sale over? I wouldn't mind owning KotOR.
Nope! KotOR just came up on sale recently!
Hell yeah, you do! You should also get KotOR 2, because they are both on sale. Buying them both would only cost me five euros, but my laptop can't run them, unfortunately. :(
Your laptop can run Torchlight II but not KoTOR? :-/
I know. Takes the piss. KotOR just shuts straight down before it even fully loads. It rejects all onboard chipsets, if I remember right.
Oh. That's smurfin retarded. :-/
The woes of onboard chipsets, really. It's my own fault for not doing whatever's necessary to obtain more money.
Whatever. Is. Necessary.
Actually, I probably have more, or at least as much, hours into Persona 3 and 4 as Digimon World 2, if only because those games are long. (FES clocked in about 150 hours for me, including the Answer) on one play through. And I've played just the journey through twice now. So I'm probably at about 300 Hours on Persona 3. :p
Does Bolivar own a bank or something?
Absolutely. Expenses are to be paid by the client.
I accidentally started playing it, and now I've completely forgotten about the games I just bought. :/
I like the parts where I have to investigate in order to find out where people or places are, rather than just following a glowing map marker. It's a pain in the arse if you just wanna hop on for an hour, but fortunately that is not a problem when playing Morrowind. :D
Has anyone played Arx Fatalis or the Gothic series? I only got them because I was having trouble running Morrowind at a decent framerate, but I've fixed that now. They seem pretty interesting, and had good reviews.
I believe I expressed this exact sentiment to Pike after playing for only an hour or so.
As for what I got in the Steam sale, pretty much just Morrowind and the Binding of Isaac. The latter of which wins the Vivi22 award for being the most delightfully smurfed up game I can remember playing in years. I love it!
I didn't want to spend much, if anything at all this sale. But I did just cave in and get KotR 2 and To The Moon.
I rarely buy anything on steam. I only caught the sale when it had Sword of the Stars a while back.
I've also got the third Penny Arcade on there, but no sale when I picked that one up. :p
Yeah, I just got To The Moon as well. Haven't tried it yet, but it's on the laptop, waiting.
Steam is evil I tell you!
My friend got me DoTA 2 and I'm debating of picking up Civ V
Also just got GTAs 3 through San Andreas. :D
Gave in and bought the Civ V expansion Gods & Kings. :x
(SPOILER)Ya'll should get Civ IV rather than Civ V
Man I tried getting into Civ IV but it wasn't long until almost every square of the map was settled and nothing was happening except getting to choose what to research every few turns. Then again it was like the third time I ever played Civ and I probably didn't know what I was doing.
Had Civ IV. Lost the disk. :-/ But I actually prefer the battles in V. There was no strategy in IV. Just stack a bunch of units and walk over everything. About everything else was better though admittedly. :x
Pike, if I get Civ is there a way to play it online with you and Hux?
FTL
To The Moon
30 Flights of Loving
Castle Crashers
Spec Ops: The Line
Rayman Origins
Borderlands 2 (gifted)
I... haven't installed any of them. I actually forgot I bought them shortly after.
BAD. PERSON.
I ended up grabbing Civ V for like $7.50.
