How are the New Years resolutions holding up for those who made them?
So far so good.
I'm giving myself a grace period until I'm back from vacation so I haven't even started mine yet :(
I put £800 into my savings today.
I'm now at £2000 so halfway to my July target /smug
The only resolution I made was to read more, and so far I've been keeping up to that resolution.
I already forgot what my New Years resolution is :|
I start work in earnest tomorrow, so the saving will begin then. But straight off the bat I'll have to buy a new laptop so that's going to set me back.
Super awesome /smug.
...I can't remember what it is.
So far so good! Have had an article up a day and then some! Thanks to you lovely members ^_^ This year will be the year of the frontsite :D
If you need help, there is a new book by an old advisor of mine,
Changeology Book
That is geared at helping people change themselves (resolutions)
I made a post-New Year's resolution of putting a 100$/pay into my savings account (might increase to 200$/pay in the summer). Gonna save up and go to Japan when I graduate and visit my friend. :D
New Years Resolution? What New Years Resolution?
Mine have been going pretty badly as I'm on 2 weeks of the 5pm-2am shift which makes doing most of my resolutions pretty difficult. Once I'm off this shift I'll get on the wagon again.
oooh an iOS game. What game are you creating?
My new year's resolution? It's simple; kill the Batman.
The world's still here, isn't it? My resolution is still a success.
Your resolution was for world peace and for war to be held at bay so we don't blow ourselves up in a nuclear firefight? Awww, Wesley, we have the same goal!
I never resolve to do anything, but so far this year is going very well. I like 2013.
The wonderful soreness in my quads suggests squats are going well. Not really a resolution, just getting back to the routine after I fell off the wagon in November.
Kept up my GTL, didn't pull any girls so far though!
I'm always surprised when I don't fall down the stairs after squats. xD
I almost did once. Stumbled the last few and almost knocked somebody over. Very embarrassing.
Yeah my gym has that too, the gym up a floor and a half from where the reception and changing rooms are and you have to go up this ridiculously semi-spiral stair case... there's not even an elevator. Oh well, nothing like a post-workout stair well...
