What makes you disproportionately unhappy?
The last episode of Merlin. Great acting, lousy ending. After years of hinting, no kiss. :(
Also, scones. People keep telling me how great they are and I always get my hopes up... but then, it feels like I've been had.
Realising you've missed your last train and you have to get the weekend night bus home...
Oh god. You poor bastard. How many drunken children did you have to deal with? xD
When my phone doesn't have a peel.
Just seventeen. Not too bad for a Friday.
There was also the Canadian tramp who stands on the top deck begging the entire bus for money so he can get a flight back to Canada. I've seen him about 7 times now and always remind him that the 192 doesn't take him to Manchester airport.
My dog slipping past me as I'm going out the front door and the realization that the front yard gate isn't closed.
Something similar. eating a big bag of Wine Gums (replace winegums with your own favorite sweet) duringf a film, putting your hand in convinced there was at LEAST 3 left only to find out.....ITS EMPTY YOUR RUMMAGING IN AN EMPTY BAG OF NOTHING. The pain is 2 fold;
1. No sweets left
2. You feel like a fat bastard
I've suffered so much for so long from so many things. I can't quite remember all the stupid things that caused this though. :p
Beating a game with a cliffhanger ending knowing that the next installment won't be out for way too long.
Being broke after the bills are paid.
Making a simple error or mistake.
I'm not sure everybody's getting the "disproportionately unhappy" part of this. Lots of these posts are legit troutty situations lol.
When I try a new wine that someone's recommended and it tastes like sour grape flavored bath water.
When my kindle's not charged and I want to take a bubble bath. Back off yo, my manliness is not in question here.
When I'm in a crowd and someone waves in my direction and I wave back but then realize that they were waving at someone behind me.
After putting the cookies in the oven realizing that there is no more cookie dough to eat. :quina:
When I say something but I change what I'm saying halfway through so a word comes out as a garbled mangle of two words.
this flu is the worst feeling ever :/
betrayal of trust
smurf your betrayal of trust this is worse
Doing a fart, following through and not being in a position to clean it up as you are out somewhere or in a long car journey.
Stubbing your toe and hiccups.
I dunno. I find the worse thing is when I make a cup of a tea, get distracted, lift it to my mouth to drink and find it's gone horrid and cold. Unfortunately working in an office where people have cause to ring me makes this a distressingly common occurrence. :(
That is absolutely equivalent in awfulness.
Eating right and exercising, and a week later stepping on the scale to find you haven't lost any weight.
The fact that I've played through Final Fantasy 6 so many times that I can never really feel like playing it again.
Right now
I'm not saying it isn't the best game in the series, cuz it kinda is...
I just...I can't play it anymore. It's lost its effect on me.
I did rewrite the script, which took five months or so.
I actually would like suggestions for how it can be improved...but that's not the topic of this thread.
So...another disproportionately unhappy thing?
Coming to terms with the fact that my feet smell worse than other people's?
How many people's feet have you smelled?
when the elastic in your underwear starts to wear out but you don't throw them away and they are essentially falling off under your pants all day.
smurf me.
How is that the worst feeling in the world? It should be HELL YEAH I GET TO BUY NEW UNDERWEAR!
Throw your crap out, you hoarder.
We both know you hang onto your trout unnecessarily long :colbert:
So how long do you hold onto your trout, Jowy? When you're holding your trout in your hands, do you think about Shorty?
When you think up an amazing post to make and then when you get home and sit down to write it you've forgotten what it was.
Waking up after having a dream that you've won the lottery.
Finishing that last cup of coffee at 3:30 am and having that bit of sludge in the bottom of it because your coffee maker is trout.
Money low. :(
"Yeah, I'll do it later."
>=| BUT I WANT IT DONE NOW.
New one.
Almost sneezing.
When there are no smurfing chocolate wafers in the staff vending machine at work.
:doublecolbert:
When you've run out of your favourite tropical juice drink. Seriously, that makes me depressed.
Either that, or the end of a movie, game, friendship, anything. I can't stand endings. :(
Seeing all your lovely faces
The worst feeling in the world is reading this thread http://home.eyesonff.com/general-cha...ml#post3203917
Actually Shorty turned that thread into win.
Not being as cool as Shorty is the worst thing in the world.
Waking up early on a Saturday because your body is used to waking up early during the week.
Waiting. And not the anticipatory, I'm-so-stoked-for-this-Halo-sequel waiting but the other kind. The kind that happens when you wait for a message that is not coming. The kind that makes you want to chew yout heart out of your chest and replace it with some gasoline-fueled pump in the hopes that maybe it won't hurt this time. :/
Yeah, I'm dreary in the morning (and it's 10 here and I just woke up so >.<)
That feeling when you've got a metal rod stabbed all the way through your torso, and you reach for your cell phone to call 911 and realize that your battery is flat. Worst feeling ever.
Losing a friend. ._.
The worst feeling in the world is being hungover.
Having the best morning sex of your life, then waking up and realizing you slept on the couch and you've just molested an innocent pillow.
Watching The Number 23.
Funny, that the concept of the story is more intriguing that the story itself. People will say that you find connections and conspiracy wherever you look if you are looking for it. The mind sees what it wants to see. That's basically what The Number 23 tells us.
Waking up at 9:30 and going into panic mode because you're late for work.
This was mitigated somewhat by the realization that today is a holiday, which is why I didn't set my alarm. :p
Realizing that there are people who don't have to go to work today while I'm sitting at my desk starting my workweek :(
