Scott Pilgrim is simply amazing

I mean, am I right or what?

It's been a while since I read that, but it was pretty good, yeah.

I enjoyed both the comic and the movie (though it was Cera playing Mr. Awkward again, I let it pass since it worked for the character and the tone of the movie). I only played the game for a bit, but it seemed like a decent beat em up.

Now, let's wait until someone who took the movie/comic too seriously to come in here and play the hipster card to feel superior.

The movie could have been better if they had casted non-Cera, but it was still pretty enjoyable.

The movie was the first thing I saw. Naturally Cera stuck and since I like him anyways, I didn't care. True though, he didn't fit the Scott in the comics.

Actually I felt the movie failed to get a lot of characters right. Especially Ramona.

I love it, it's very much style over substance, but the style is so great it doesn't matter. Should have had more Kim though!

I adore everything about this movie. From the Link to the Past soundbites at the beginning, Michael Cera being Michael Cera, the totally sweet soundtrack, Mary Elizabeth Winstead being hot as all hell, Keiran Culkin being a pure gem in every scene (guess who's drunk!), and the XBLA beat 'em up is super fun. I should read the graphic novels one day.

This movie can be adequately summed up in the word "nerdgasm", I think. If you're looking for more than that you should probably look elsewhere. If not, hell yeah Scott Pilgrim!!

I liked the movie. I should read the comic sometime.

I prefer the comics way more than the film but the movie is okay, it just kind of continued to be a mediocre adaption. The books were so damn funny and I really liked the love story.

Gideon steals the Power of Love, what a jerk...

Wallace is easily my favorite character in the series though.

The film suffers in having to take place over a number of weeks (might not even be that), whereas the comic has the luxury of the story unwinding over a year or so. So everything in the film feels somewhat compressed and you don't get the sense of character growth etc. But I think I knew I was going to love the film no matter what the moment the 8-bit Universal logo and theme music came on at the start.

yeah the comics are way better

but the movie was pretty great

i would recommend reading the comics, most libraries have them you guys

After I finish Vol. 1 of The Walking Dead I am going to check this one out.

Part of the problem is that hipster's meaning has transformed to "something I don't like."

Nobody should ever use it. It has become a bad word.
