I worked in a really rural Summer Camp in the NJ a couple of summers ago (like sleeping outdoors for 2 months kind of thing), and a bear attacked a group of the kids that were out hiking with two councellors. It made local news and we all had to sign a contract to say we wouldn't talk about it to the news. Was pretty crazy.

Once I was hiking after a swim and I saw a baby bear go across the river! And I was like OH GOD A BABY BEAR IT'S MOM HAS TO BE HERE SOMEWHERE and then I stood there against all reason because I wanted to see it again.
I like Pandas and Kodiaks. My dad hates bears. They give him nightmares. They chase him. My uncle gave my dad a blanket with a bear on it. He doesn't like it. I think my dad's nightmares are derived of his having his dog put down. His dog's name was bear.
