Performers you wish would just stop.

I have 5 channels preset into my radio.

When 3/5 of them are playing a Pink song, we have a problem. I hate her music. I can't stand her voice, and I don't like her songs. I liked Sober, and I liked her stuff in like, 2000. But the whole, "I'M SO PUNK" think needs to stop, imho.

Also, Taylor Swift. I actually like her, and I love her first album. But I think all of her songs sound the same, and all of her songs are about the exact same thing: boys and breaking up. She's 22? 23? now? I really wish her music would mature, and the sound of her music would mature.

What artists/actors/etc do you wish would just stop?

D'Arcy Wretzky used to be suuuuuuuuuuper hot and now she's a methhead. :aimcry: I want you to seriously listen to an entire Weezer album after Maladroit; At least half of each album is completely unlistenable. And that breaks my heart, because I adore 90s Weezer.

I like about half of Make Believe! I also saw them live and they were pretty damn fun!

Jimmy hasn't been drumming for about 4 years now. But it doesn't matter cause even when they were together Billy wrote everything, recorded everything and he literally is The Smashing Pumpkins. Their new album (which last I checked Sarah hadn't even listened to) was really good. Not Siamese Dream good, but still better than most of the crap out today. I also saw them live and it was a really awesome show, and it will always be worth it to see Billy playing guitar, the man is a god.

....And yeah, D'arcy is a crack-whore now.

I've heard enough of Zeitgeist to know the Billy Corrigan should stop making music.

Freakin' Zwan totally made up for anything bad Billy Corgan's ever put out though. That album is AWESOME.

I have to agree, as much as I love her music, she is on a bit of a crash course at the moment - getting back with Chris Brown and stuff. There are rumours that they're engaged. She's an amazing artist in her own right, but she needs to stop now for a while. She's done an album every year since 2006 I think. It's burning her out.

IIRC in the 7 years or w/e she's been about she's put out 8 albums. Just needs to have a break.

I'm not targeting Madonna because she's old. I'm targeting Madonna because she needs to stop. And in your very first post you said that you liked Taylor Swift's first album which suggests you think she is good enough to be in the industry. You also said you liked some of Pink's songs which suggest you think she's good enough to be in the industry. yeah no sorry Huxley but I'm with Towns on this one. Madonna is a wrinkly old hag who has got one of the most disturbing bodies of anyone who keeps on showing off so much of it.
