What is the longest duration break you have taken from Eoff, and why?
Like 3 months? Between work school, and life I just didn't have time/had other things to do/lost interest. MANY OF THINGS.
Edit: In regards to the thread title: I missed you insofar as I always did enjoy your posts, though I do not know you well.

i have been on-again-off with this here forum for a loooong time. also have been excised from reality a few times by various powers that be. or don't be.
i'm confused now.
I think at one point I disappeared for between 1 to 2 years, that is really the only time I have been inactive though, I got it out of my system I guess :p
Somewhere between 1 and 4 years. University was a thing that occurred, and it took over all my time. After I graduated I came crawling back. xD
Sorry, didn't actually mean the title personally. Just a title for the question. But thanks for the sentiment.

i left in 2009 sometime, and came back in 2012. school was one of the things that kept me away.
7 years - because I was involved in FFInsider at the time, then University, then working... then I got bored one day and decided to come back :p
I've taken a year or so off before. I may not always be posting but I usually am atleast lurking once a month or so.

I was mostly absent from 2005-2008, but I've had lots of disappearances inbetween for several months at a time.
I've almost always come back to #eoff, though, even if I wasn't posting at the forums.

Pretty sure I took a break that was over a year from EoFF a while ago. I can't remember why. Or even how long it was.
About half a year because I had no internets.
Six months at a time once or twice. It's usually due to no internet or no time between work and home life.
A few months at a time for vacations and the sort. I also tend to turn off my internet for weeks at a time so I can get crap done so there's that.
I disappeared for a couple of longish periods of time, longest one was probably almost 2 years. I return and it's like nothing much has changed at all. These days if I don't get on here and post, though he'll forever deny it Paul misses me something chronic to the point where he will spend the night having a slow mournful wank to Death Cab For Cutie tracks.
