I read the feature on this forum on Kotaku recently and it got me feeling very nostalgic, not just for the games that inspired it but for that online community atmosphere I enjoyed throughout my teens on forums. So I just had to come over here and check out the place for myself :)
I was extremely pleased to discover my preferred Final Fantasy themed username wasn't taken :D

I was quite surprised it was available tbh, they've been part of the series for so long. And with them being such a big part of the beginning of FF VI which many people regard as the best of the lot, would have surely thought a fan of VI would have taken the name.Quote:

There was probably a "Biggs and Wedge" and some point. If not, a Biggs and a separate, unrelated Wedge likely existed.

Was it intended to sound like 'big sandwich' when they created those names in Star Wars? If so, that's pretty great. I can't believe it's taken me all the way through to Locky's post in this thread to catch on to the word play. I never paid it attention before.
I'm aware, they were the pilots with Luke when they attacked the death star. Big Star Wars fan :D Anyways they were in FF IV as well. I just mentioned VI as it's often critically acclaimed as the best in the series, so as they played a big part in it. I wondered why the name hadn't been used.Quote:
