Prove me wrong.
Seriously though, is there any competition?
Yes, plenty.
It's not even the best track in FFX. That would be Silence Before the Storm.
The best track in all of FF is probably Dancing Mad.
Don't get me wrong, To Zanarkand is still a great track, but no way is it the best track in all of Final Fantasy.
To Zanarkand is the best track in FFX but it is not the best in whole FF series. I didn't play all the FF games, but I sure think there are better.
It's a very bland song, honestly.
Consider yourself proven wrong. To Zanarkand has nothing on this.
SO MANY GREAT SONGS AARGH
Sorry but so long as Aria di Mezzo Carattere is around no other FF song is gonna be the best FF song.
:whimper::crying2::crying:
There are, like, a great number of tracks that are better than or can compete with "To Zanarkand". I'm sure every FF has at least one, actually. Probably more.
The Aria is a close second (actually, the whole opera is), but Dancing Mad just barely edges it out for me.Quote:
Sorry but so long as Aria di Mezzo Carattere is around no other FF song is gonna be the best FF song.
Wrong.
FF IX's You're Not Alone is.
Even in terms of opening songs (or iconic songs) FFIV/FFVII's Prelude is leaps and bounds better than To Zanarkand.
Pff, y'all just don't know an amazing piano track when you hear one. :colbert:
I agree. To Zanarkand is the best FF-track I've ever heard. The song has such a feel to it, love it. I've always wanted to learn it on piano..
I love "To Zanarkand" but I always liked "Fleeting Dream" better.
I've always thought To Zanarkand is one magnificent piece of music. I think there must be a lot of other songs that are great as well though. It all boils down to personal opinions, right?
I really love Via Purifico though
Okay who is responsible for this censoring?
For me they are better, To Zanarkand is still something beautiful in my opinion.

To Zanarkand is deliciously the best track in all FF ? D:
It's a nice song, but as food ? No thanks. I prefer Chicken.
Alright so this is giving me goosebumps you guys
Yes! That song is so beautiful.
I am indifferent with To Zanarkand. I think it's maybe that I've heard it for so long that I forget if I ever did like it. My brother on the other hand loves it.
When it comes to my favourite FFX piece, it's not even above half way. Besaid Island, A Fleeting Dream, Illusion, Sanubia Sands, Beyond the Darkness, & Macalania Woods are some more of my personal favourites, but there is so many others really. As for favourite FF piece in general, it wouldn't come close.
Guys, obviously My Hands is the best FF song ever. :P
Okay, seriously though, I would put To Zanarkand up there with my top ten FF tracks. Though I have always been more fond of the Kingdom Hearts Piano Collections. OMFG THOSE ARE AMAZING. Actually, I tend to listen to FF and KH Piano Collections more than the actual soundtracks. Except for The Hymn of the Fayth/Song of Prayer, something about it just gets to me.
Really? Apart from the prelude, it played four times during the game. The Opening, in Home, when reaching Zanarkand and on the The End screen. I'm gonna guess you mean the remixes (Movement in Green, Truth) in which case, yeah it plays quite a fair amount.
While You're Not Alone is an amazing piece it doesn't quite have the same effect on me as To Zanarkand. That piece plays at the perfect times throughout the game.
I still think To Zanarkand is boring. I love a beautiful piano arrangement, but something about it doesn't really resonate with me much.
I personally love "To Zanarkand"; if it's not my favorite then it's a close runner-up to AC's version of Tifa's theme.
