Beta NDA status - Phase 3

Under the FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn Beta Test Agreement, we asked you to keep confidential the features, information, and bugs related to the Beta Test as well as information shared on the Beta Tester Forum. As of June 13, 2013, we grant you permission to disclose information regarding the Beta Test.

While we grant you permission to disclose information and remove restrictions set under the confidentiality provisions, in the case you would like to use any copyrighted materials, you must 1) agree and comply with our FINAL FANTASY® XIV: A Realm Reborn Beta Test Materials Usage License, 2) comply with any additional instructions provided by us.

Videos, sound, music or screenshots from the FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn Alpha Test, Beta Test phase 1 and Beta Test phase 2 may not be used. As of June 13, 2013, Testers may post screenshots from the Beta Test phase 3, however, videos, sound, and music remain prohibited.

If SE decides to find out who's account the screenshot matches (which given our account share thread wouldn't be hard) then the person who screenshots could be banned not only from the beta, but their PSN account could be banned from FF14 permanently. I don't think SE would do that, but it would be better not to risk it.

If the screens are from Phase 3, then it is okay. The NDA has been mostly lifted as per Aulayna's post.

Well, it's a week before we can get back into the game, so hopefully you hear back by Friday. Also, remember, it's Beta Phase Three and any progress you make in-game is going to be destroyed... I dunno about the rest of you lot, but I kind of got bored with playing the game because of that. I felt it all rather futile doing all these quests. xD It was fun exploring, though.

I know that feeling... Happened to me just now before Dragons Prophet went Open beta. But yeah, would be nice to explore and get to interact with you guys and see how the game looks with the new graphics and stuff ^^

No, any advancement from Phase 4 will carry to Early Access/Launch. At least, that is what they have said so far. I think barring any major set-backs, that will not change.

im sure theyll give us a notice when and what will be transfered to launch. so just sit back and enjoy the beta for now. :D
