I had no idea what this was so I looked it up. FFFFFFFFFF I should have known not to look up any food that you post :barf:
I wonder why they call it bread.
Seeing "sweet" and "bread" in the thread title made me hungry for a cinnamon roll. :(
Cinnamon rolls are cakes. :colbert:
But they are bread that is sweet. :doublecolbert:
I had sweetbreads over the weekend. It was delicious!
In answer to the OP: I love chicken livers, so I'd probably like sweetbreads if they were cooked right.
I had chicken hearts once at a Brazilian steakhouse. Waaay to dark of a meat for me.
Ah yes, sweetbreads, the most misleading name for any food ever.
They are terrible.
Rocky Mountain Oysters are a Montana specialty. People eat them during "testicle festivals."
Once my school tricked a Czech exchange student into eating them. The look on his face when he realized it was priceless. As was his "You mean my parents sent me to school in America... just to eat BULL TESTICLES??" response.
I am not a huge fan of them. Also, once I felt a little sick the next day after eating some and blamed them. Though apparently I was the only one. Not a huge fan though they didn't taste that bad in all honesty.
