All my posts in the staff forum count. In other words, I cheat because I have more topics to post in. :shobon:
I'll drop out of it soon. Was on a massive spree last week due to E3 and pushing to dominate that board but now I've achieved that I'm back off to my burrow to work on behind the scenes stuff again.
I only post a few times a day, I'm also not sure how they do it...tell us your secrets :o

I don't try to be particularly active. I just post where I want to post and if that it lots, then so be it.

I need less of a life so I can post more. I haven't been posting anywhere near as much as I usually would. It's not like I can blame my new promotion making me bored of typing either since it's been going on for a few weeks now.
I haven't been a top poster in somewhere around six years. I did it back then by having nonsense to say about almost everything.
I've been inactive for 2 years so... not much happening on my end.

I've been trying to stay in the lower forums of late for my posting. Staff forum helps too. I've dipped back down the last few days cause i'm sleepy and have been doing a lot of it lol
I have always wondered this myself, except that I don't post more than once a couple of days or once a day if regularly, so I can't really try to compete.
Back 2006-2007 I was probably one of the top posters, I know I was the top chatter for awhile. Not enough good stuff to talk about anymore and most of the people I really liked are long gone :(

Since early last year, I have quadrupled my post count from eleven years prior.
I've been a bit more inconsistent this year than in the previous few years. There will be periods where I post a ton almost every day (maybe 10-20 posts/day), but then others where I confine myself mostly to Staff and the General forums (maybe 1-5 posts/day). It doesn't really take all that much time to post a lot -- just motivation and energy.
Most of my post count was from the first 3.5 years of my registration, then around the end of 2009 I dropped off for about 6 months, then I posted half a dozen times in 2010, and then disappeared entirely for 2 years. Then made another half dozen posts in the first half of 2012 and was gone for another year. But as of last month, I'm back and attempting to regain the activity I had in my early years, both here and in chat.
I was actually top poster for a brief while back in early January I think, but since then, I've really cut down on my activity quite substantially. To be honest, I don't really think about it so much. Though I am impressed with those people who post bucket loads every month.Quote:

Being the most active member of this forum is an incredibly hard title to keep up, and you must all see me struggling however subtle, but for me, it's just a matter of pride. I must keep going, I must endure. Rain or shine I am here, posting to you people on The Eyes On Final Fantasy Forums Experience, and I will continue to do so until the day I die in order to uphold my title.
