I can't spell definitely. The only reason it's spelled properly there is because of spell check. And no matter how many times I see it spelled definitely I continue to spell it definetly.

Oh I'm terrible with that word too.
Al ov dam.
I've always been good with definitely! I still think your way of spelling it is better than people who spell it "defiantly."
No no no no no no.
My problem words are separate and sequel. I always want to put seperate and sequal.
Separate is one of the words I have the most problems with. In my mind, it's spelled "seperate" but I'm aware it's spelled separate.
"Amazingly". :(
None of them because I am a fantastic speller.
Using words that don't exist though, that's a different story.
I was bad with "definitely" too until I realized it has the word "finite" in the middle. Now I just need to conquer restaurant and refrigerator. Both of which I spelled right just now, but I tell you it was tense.
"arboretum"
"Judgment" is annoying because I keep expecting there to be an e in there, like judgement.
"annihlation"
I fecking hate that word/
Annihilation. That's the correct spelling. I will kill it. I will -annihilate- it.
When someone spells "definitely" as "defiantly", I imagine them being an elcor.
I'm worse with my pronunciation than with my spelling, but I would prefer if pronunciation was spelled pronounciation. I'm not a big fan of random inconsistency.
There is a word I can't spell properly, but I can never seem to remember what it is until I go to use it... then I stare are the word vexedly and use spell checker.
Also definitely used to be a trouble word for me till I broke it down one day and now its de-fi-nite-ly.
"Separate" used to give me some trouble. And I thought people only misspelled "definitely" as "definately."
Words that still give me problems no matter how many times I've used them: "bourgeoisie" and "bureaucracy."
Almost no words.
For me I guess every words that I have never heard before. Yeah that kinda words.
Not just wrong to say it, but I also wrote it wrong.
I always used to spell "arguement" until one day babe was like THERE'S ONLY ONE E STOP SPELLING IT LIKE THAT
Semi-related: there are lots of words that I know the meaning of and how to spell correctly, but that I have no idea how to pronounce because I only ever encounter them in text.
I see he handled it maturely :greenie:Quote:

The pronunciation of "Variety" though killed me. I gave it a double "R" when saying it, so it sounded like "Var-ri-ety". My dad always made fun of me for it,
Stank.
