How do you imagine it? My boyfriend imagines it as being gruff and caveman like due to his speech patterns, but I imagine it more like Jar Jar Binks because its a silly voice and Quina looks and acts silly.

For some reason when I first played the game I imagined him having some kind of unplaceable, vaguely Indian accent. I kind of just made up character voices on the spot and that's what I came up with for him.
It sounds juvenile and caveman-like in my head because that is how it is presented to do the player. I loathe Quina, to be honest. The game would have been better without it.
FFIX would be infinitely poorer without Quina.
I was thinking more Fat Albert.
Mix that with Jar Jar and it'd probably be golden.
Agreed, I can imagine her voice in my head just fine, but whenever I hear dubs of her voice I cringe. Same goes for Vivi.Quote:

I suppose you could say I what I imagined sounded vaguely Jar-Jar-ish, but that's only because I can't think of anyone else at the moment who sounds like that. I know that in my head it really doesn't sound like Jar-Jar except to a slim bit.
