The game isn't the perfect thing Pike may have made it out to be, but it's flaws are all pretty small. More then with the 6$ off GoG. :p

I personally feel that SMAC is better but I really can't judge anyone for preferring MoO2. Either one at the top of the 4X strategy list (Civ IV as well) is fine by me.
Inspired to start up a new game, I've changed things up from my usual stance of militaristic conquest and despotism and am playing as Einstein of the University. My settlements thus far being Science!, Ocean Science!, and Action Science!. Unsurprisingly, just about everyone has waged vendetta on me at some point and I've been spending more time defending myself than researching.
Also unsurprising, Morgan is in dead last followed by Miriam and her religious nut bags.
