The Ultimate Difficult Decision

DECIDE

Cake.

3 Milks Cake to be precise.

I love cheesecake, but dame mi pastel de 3 leches y estoy bien. XDDD

Pie. Cake is good, and in fact some cakes are great, but most common cakes are only good in small quantities. On the other side, there are plenty of common pies that are delicious enough to require multiple servings.

I get in moods where I prefer one more than the other. Favorite cake is Black Forest and favorite pie is Lemon Meringue.

Ooooo I love Black Forest cake, but I haven't had it in ages.

But.. I'm not a huge sweets person anymore aside from my cookies that I have now, my mom's fudge, Mayfield's brand Ice Cream, yeah.

Red velvet. Carrot. Cheesecake*. Coffee. Chocolate. Princess. Ice cream. Molten lava. Really, though, I could have stopped at red velvet, because it is superior to literally every other dessert there ever has been or ever will be.

Cake is best. Pie is invalid next to red velvet.

*HAS CAKE IN THE NAME AND THUS COUNTS FOR CAKE.

The best cake is a pie. Boston Cream Pie. It's so pie, it's almost not even a cake.

Also, the best pie is a cake. Cheesecake. So, you know, really a tie if you will.

But overall? PIE PIE PIE PIE

Cheesecakes and Key Lime Pies and Lemon Pies and Pumpkin Pies and Apple Pies and Cherry Pies and Blueberry Pies and etc etc et al

always cherry pie, apple lattice takes the silver medal.

Pies have a lot of variety, but purely I'll stick to the sweet pies since I'm comparing it to cake. At which point cakes win. :3

Pie.

Cheesecake shoudl be a third poll options, as no other cake or pie even comes close to comparing.

Seconded. Hell, I've eaten entire cakes by myself in one sitting. Smaller ones granted, but I'm counting them.

Very few pies are consumable.

Every damn cake in the world is delicious (except pineapple cake).

I'd go with cake. Given the opportunity, I would eat cake every day, whereas I'll only eat pie at holiday meals, and then only a single, smallish piece. And only if no one has made cake.

I like... pies. And cake. Though cake can go stale.
