Moments of temporary not-being-sucky-at-something.

At school, we're doing exams. We have an oral and a written exam. The written is worth either 20, 30, 40 or 50% (depending on level), with the rest being filled by the oral. Nobody at the office could figure out how to work out the total score except me, and I was so proud because I hadn't forgotten maths. :blush:

Now I've finally come to doing my own end of semester reports and I've god damn forgotten the equation I gave them all for figuring it out. :|

So, firstly, y'all help a brother out? Let's say someone got 80% in their oral (worth 70%) and 63% in their written (worth 30%). How do I make up a total grade for those?

And, secondly, tell me about times when you've been totally awesome for a moment, and then lost it the second. It can be physical or mental prowess, I dun kur. :D

What accounts for the other 60% of the grade? Sexiness?

80 x 0.7 + 63 * 0.3 = 56 + 18.9 = 74.9

That's the one! I remember my idiot manager dividing by 0.7, so I laughed at him. My! How much egg there would be on my face if you hadn't been here, my friend. :)

I randomly scored like five three-pointers in a game of pick-me-up basketball at school once. It was unbelievable, as I suck at shooting on the outside. I was just some gay kid in absurdly tight jeans against guys who did this all the time. Never played again, though. Because I sport bad. :monster:

I work as a content manager for multiple online media websites for quite a bit of time now and I have never ever made one single mistake, one single 'overlooked' post, image, video, tags, licenses, hyperlink, newsletter creation, etc etc. It makes me feel good.

Sometimes I start getting really baller in Photoshop (or at least what I -think- is baller) when I'm feeling particularly ambitious, but it only lasts for a short while. I wind up finding a new style and then I fall into a rut with it.

Man I was doing some hill runs on Wednesday and was like "hell yeah still got it" and then took a short break and nearly vomited all my organs up. Organs, not Oregons.
