I tend to stick with teals, blues or blacks for shoes. These are my most recent pair:

My day-to-day shoes outside of work are a pair of mint-colored flats. I have a pair of blue converse for the winter when my toes get cold but I have a feeling I'll be wearing my Vans more this years :jess: I also have a million pairs of heels that I do not wear often because I am terrified of destroying them.

I wear the same brand of running shoes as Wendy Davis! Which means I could filibuster in them if I wanted to.

I buy them from Payless for $30 every three years or so. Great deal. I've been doing this for like the past 12 years.

I used to be obsessed with sneakers. I had a pair of black suede Etnies with a light purple E, some green & white Gallaz (I think I still have em), a pair of white & orange DC'S, White & pink somethins..... Now, I'm all about flip flops and sandals. I will rock them in the winter. Idgaf. I hate my toes being covered up.... Though my sister will give me her knitted Uggs this year or doom will reign on her for all eternity.

Oh man, I had black etnies with the white E! Best shoes ever are Globes, though. So damn comfortable.

I have one pair of vegan Doc Martens, and one pair of black canvas shoes by the autonomie project, which look like chucks but are fair trade. I only buy vegan shoes, so as well as those two I have a pair of tall boots, some wedges and some running shoes, and that's it. There's a pair of oxfords I'm saving for, though.

Besides my pair of flip-flops which I wear pretty exclusively whenever I can get away with it, I own one pair of black basketball shoes and two pairs of dress shoes (one black, one brown). I have no desire or need to own any more shoes.

I've acquired a vintage pair of stacked leather oxford heels since. And I'm too lazy to take a photograph of my Vans.

They're typically martial arts shoes, but I wear them everywhere. They aren't great for walking long distances, but they're super comfortable and being martial arts shoes give me a wide range of motion and control with my feet.

I've gone hiking through near knee high snow, and no snow got into my shoes nor did my feet ever get cold. They're amazing, I've put them through hell and back and they don't look more than a day old.

I also have some tennis shoes that look like... tennis shoes. Couldnt findBe arsed to look for a picture of them

Comfort over fashion for me, but that's to be expected.

Here is a cell-phone-quality picture of some of the shoes I've worn over the past several years.
I could only find four pairs, plus one stray left shoe (only full pairs are present in the picture).

I'm sad. I miss my shoe collection. Bet my sister is going mad in them and ruining them ALL.

I'm far from as happy with my shoes as I want to be. I would wear a lot more sneakers if I could find comfortable ones that fit my humongous feet and don't cost a billion monies.

I have an assortment of cheapish shoes, because I think I walk stupidly or something and constantly scuff and ruin my kicks. Which means that I go through shoes quickly. However, I have this cute pair of Steve Madden flats with menswear inspired mint green laces that I love. Also I just purchased:

Though I only wear sandals in the summertime because smurf socks, my shoes are either business black/brown or cheap as hell sneakers. Since I only buy my shoes at Payless (due to them always carrying my size), my shoes look cheap as hell.

I had a pair of Vans from like 9 years ago that I just replaced. They're not cars, they don't have regular maintenance schedules. :p

i won't bother with my current tennis shoes because they're filthy and in need of replacement (they're my work shoes :D) but my not-at-work shoes are flipflops.

It's mostly a support thing. You know you've had your shoes too long when they start to show more wear on one side of the heel over the other. Seriously, at least once a year get new shoes! Your feet will thank you for it!
