I like how you people from "over there" seem to confuse cough syrup for booze. My Swedish, my former Swedish liaison, loved getting wasted on that stuff.

The concept of savory cakes is weird. But Swedes are awesome and somehow make it work. :quina:

I did not like the smorgasboardshrimpmayonnaise cake.
They manufacture the ones sold here in Canada, but the company that created the brand, Malaco, was Swedish (they were eventually purchased by Leaf International). I think Cadbury Adams bought the brand at some point, but the Wikipedia article isn't exactly clear on whether it was just for the North America market or for all of them. Anyway they were originally Swedish, hence the name.
All I know about Swedish food I learned from IKEA.
Swedish Fish are Swedish. <3 I've had them since I was a little girl, and I'm sure Rantzien has too. AND THEY ARE FREAKIN' DELICIOUS. Chewing on a green one right now.
Yeah, I've also had them since I was a little girl. :roll2
I love this thread and it makes me happy but I don't know why.
Oh, I had that! It's so different if you're expecting coke, though. It's good but suuuuuper sweet.
