Ketchup is okay, but I don't like it nearly as much as I used to. I rarely touch the bottle in my fridge except for recipes that require it. I'll still put some on my hot dog when I get one, but far more mustard.
Ketchup is trout. smurf ketchup.
Ketchup can actually mean a lot of different things. And yes, if it has high fructose corn syrup in it, it's going to be bad, but it isn't ALL bad.
I dunno, I still prefer me some good old aussie tomato sauce
I enjoy the occasional dip of tomato sauce. It's not usually too sugary, unless it's in a little pot from McDonalds or something.
Ketchup is amazing. Eggs, seasoned potatoes, hashbrowns, hot dogs, brats, burgers. Bring it on.
I don't prefer using it with fries, though, which seems to be a lot of peoples' preference.
I like the way this thread is shaping up so far. There are several distinct groups of people in any ketchup discussion:
1. People from America
a. People with good taste
b. People with bad taste
c. Children
2. People from Elsewhere
Group 2 likes ketchup (because their ketchup isn't American ketchup). Group 1b loves ketchup. Group 1a hates ketchup. Group 1c likes ketchup because they don't know any better.
I detest ketchup.
I'm with Shorty on this one: Ketchup is indeed nice if used on the right food. And that food is definitely NOT smurfing Ice Cream.

I'm British. I imagine Canadians would consider it a crime. And it's kind of more "grated cheddar" than "lumpy rubbery grossness" but the nearest translation I could find for our overseas friends!

Ketchup is the worst and most disgusting substance in the entire world. Just smelling it makes me want to puke.
