Did you give the Awesome Sphere to Youth League or New Yevon? Which leader do you like best?
It's been so long I don't remember D: I think I gave it to Youth? But i don't remember. :( I'm looking forward to the HD release so I can play this game specifically again.
I think the first time I was like "hell no we are bad asses we are not stealing the sphere and then giving it back!"
I really didnt want to give it to either... but I know what the deciding factor was.

The Youth League.
Baralai's kind of feminine for me. If you could give it to the Al Bhed Faction, I would've. Gippal is HAWT.
My first playthrough I gave it to New Yevon because I have always liked Yevon. Subsequent playthroughs I gave it to the League because you need to do that for 100%
I never tried to beat FF X-2 100% (for obvious reasons) but you actually cant 100% if you give the orb to new yevon? Doesnt that kind of ruin the entire "moral" dilemma?Quote:

I think both options count for different percentage points and you have to play the game through twice to get 100%, right? The official strategy guide says yes and no.
I played it twice, so I'm sure I tried it both ways, but I can't remember hardly a thing about this game except 3 chicks bathing together in a stream, 2 random dudes you pick between and a fake Tidus...oh and you can jump and the fighting is kinda oddly different.
The Youth League. If we learned one thing from the first game it's that Yevon is a jerk.

New Yevon. Felt like more of a badass making a more controversial choice.
Youth League for the exact same reasons Rikku mentioned when they even considered giving it to New Yevon. I still maintain my stance that we should have sold it to the highest bidder.
When I try to get 100% in one go, I give it to the Youth League.
Any other time, New Yevon. Because the Youth League are assholes. Remember what they do in Kilika in Chapter 3? Yeah, smurf them.
I am pretty sure I gave it to the youth league, even if their faction name is really dumb.
