What do you do?
I'd be in the same boat I am now :monster:
I would lie in bed, eat food and play games. I had no money when I was unemployed and that is exactly what I did.
This should by extention also mean that all my negative money (debt) disappears too, right?
I'd just keep working. I wouldn't have lost a lot anyway.
I might immediately resort to a life of crime. Beg, borrow, or steal enough money to get some sort of enterprise going, make some money, use that money to make more money.
Wait for my next paycheck before paying my bills, I guess?
Since the system is apparently rigged against me in the harshest of ways, I would start like 32 ponzi schemes. Each more zany than the previous one. I would at some point start interweaving them to prop up the other ones and then burn all of the money if I ever get found out. Blow up my buildings and belongings so that there is nothing left for restitution! Then hopefully all of the "victims" will start their own ponzi schemes. Yes...this plan is perfect! Nothing could possibly go wrong.
Go donate plasma ...
or .. you know... Hit the corner right quick.
I would have to make use of my extensive network of connections to, uh, well look I'm already unemployed and only recently rectified the homeless and transient business so it's not like it's a huge deal it just means an indefinite delay on my plans.
Bottle caps.
Oh, it's just me who loses money. That's less fun.
Move somewhere warm and plant some vegetables.
Assuming all money everywhere was gone and not just mine.
Stress out a lot. I'd be glad I'm out of debt, but I suppose that means I'm going to be hitting up mom and dad or the in-laws for a place to move my family.
I would wait patiently for the government to announce how our society will function now without the use of a recognised currency.
I'd continue doing what I do now, which is living with my dad playing video games all day.
I've got like 350 games on Steam, I won't need to buy any new ones for a loooooooong time to come.
I would post on the internet about how in fact currency is an evil construct and property is theft and therefore I am actually the purest human being because of this.
probably the same thing im doing now. losing $3 isnt much of a loss :D
Find a ship with an honorable and gentlemanly crew who swap tales of their times about the seven seas to have adventures with and work for my keep onboard.
In a non-sexual way. :colbert:
To answer the question, I was going to say pay off my loans but deck that. I don't want to give money back to the government I want to give it to people through the entertainment of film and also to museums for the arts.
Edit: crap I thought this was the large sum thread. This is one of the many reasons I hate posting on my mobile phone. Anyway to answer THIS question, I'd figure out a way to make money so I wouldn't stress. Also my dad would let me shack. If this is like 40 years from now I'd probably panick before finding someone to shack with until I can get my feet on the ground.
Time to start that rebellion against the invisible money thief. I think it's called "Inflation".
Trade goods and services for other goods and services I guess
Actually, after the initial shock wore off I think I'd be pretty happy. Can we all live in a world without money?
