Jeremy Irons told me I was never - never - to watch even a single minute of Gossip Girl, and I've not the courage to disobey him.
I hesitate with tom cruise as well. He's a good actor but it's hard for me to separate him now a days from his personal life. I see crazy scientologist and not whatever character.
I'm not a big Adam Sandler fan.
I tried to get over my dislike for him when I was convinced to watch Oblivion... Nope. I just couldn't get past my dislike of him & couldn't get into the film. :(Quote:

Shia LaBeouf. That guy is a damn moron and a bad actor.
I'm gonna go with Adam Sandler too. It's a shame that he continues to win the people over with his sense of humour when he showed some pretty good serious acting chops with Punch Drunk Love. The exception to the rule was The Longest Yard remake - I actually didn't mind that.
I don't think he's making films anymore but I wouldn't see anything with Eddie Murphy in it either. Oh, or Mike Myers.
Hugh Grant is a chump too.
I actually like Adam Sandler. I would have said Channing Tatum until I seen Side Effects and he was decent in it. Until then I just thought he existed to be this good looking white guy who acts black in films and says 'dawg' at the end of each sentence.
I don't find Steve Carrell all that amusing, although my answer is Anne Hathaway. I really dislike her in anything since I found out she is a bitch in real life.
Katherine Heigl I find incredibly irritating. She was OK in Under Siege 2 but anything after that I just can't stand her in.
Although the person I can't stand the most is Jason Segel. He put me off How I Met Your Mother within three episodes and pretty much completely ruined the new Muppets film.
Maybe I just don't like actors who have a surname that looks a bit like bagel.

I counter with Stone Cold Steve Austin. While I disagree with you on Dwayne as he is "the most electrifying man in sports entertainment" and now most movies, that doesn't mean that all wrestlers have what it takes to be actors let alone leads. Adam Sandler I agree on, I liked Big Daddy and Happy Gilmore but his acting got stale quickly. .

No one has mentioned an actor I like which means I must have impeccable taste in actors and actresses:D
Megan Fox - I've never actually seen a movie with her in it mercifully, I just can't stand that woman. The fact that she's April O'Neill in the upcoming Turtles movie means I'll avoid that like the plague as well, which is a shame.
Julia Roberts - Can't put my finger on it with her, I just dislike her acting style I guess.
Michael Cera - Plays the same damn character in everything, and has a punchable face. Saying that I've never seen a movie he's in either, but if a movie involves a 'lovable dork' role you can be sure either he or Jesse Eisenburg will fill it, but I'll leave Eisenburg off my list as he's actually done a couple of good movies.
Yeah, it's true that Eisenburg also does pretty much the same character in every movie, but instead of being a lovable dork, he tends more toward an arrogant jackass.
I like Jesse Eisenberg for that very reason. He plays jerks well. Having seen and heard a few interviews he's done, he does actually talk in that rapid-fire, slightly condescending tone. It's awesome. *mancrush*Quote:

I do not care for Nic Cage, but I will watch something because he amuses me in a love-to-hate way.
Owen Wilson, Adam Sandler, and Rebel Wilson infuriates me. Adam Sandler is not irredeemable, but his comedies are painfully sophomoric. Owen Wilson is obnoxious. And Rebel Wilson plays characters that are incredibly unlikable.
Adam Sandler doesn't screw around having fun with his friends, he screws around making tax dodges with his friends. And I detest him, I would actually cause him pain IRL, he has reduced and diminished the human experience and he is a testament to our failings.
That's incredibly excessive.

Helena Bonham Carter. But that is more because of the roles she plays and I would not avoid watching a movie because of her. She always gets what she deserves such as an epic burst spell from Molly Weasley.
I might not be able to watch the firs Austin Powers movie again, since the guy who played Random Task turned out to be a rapist, torturer and possibly a murderer.
Generally, an actor has to be a heinous person in real life before their mere presence is enough to put me off watching something.
Speaking of Richard Gere...
