Last Final Fantasy game I played was II in early February of this year. Before that it was Final Fantasy VIII the month before. Won't be picking up a FF title again until later this month when I review VII. Ever since I started my reviews up again I haven't had time to play anything else outside of them.
I think last year, or two years ago. Last played FFIX.
Other than Bravely Default, I'm not playing any FF at the moment.
I finished FF13-2 to completion recently, as well as FF6 for the first time. Been an FF world for me recently.
Playing FFXIV right now. :D
Lightning Returns last month!
For me it was VII, at some point during last year. I didn't finish it. :(
I played FFX about... six months ago? Seven? Can't recall.
I've been feeling the urge to pick up FFVI but I'm in the middle of Pokemon Gold and I don't like playing more than one story-driven RPG at a time.

Technically Theaterrhthm is the last FF title I played but if we're only counting the actual FF titles and not their spin-offs... I started a new playthrough of FFVII a few months back but as usual I get to Junon and lose interest.

I put FFIX on my PSP a couple years ago and played maybe a quarter of it and lost interest. I keep hoping I'll see that something magical others tend to see in it, but it just feels like a slog every time I try it. I beat it once, and it felt like a chore back then. And that was the last FF I beat. Sadly, the last one I played before that was probably XII when it first came out. I may try 6 or 7 soon, since I know I can enjoy those games. And I got 7 off Steam, and have a controller to make it feel more natural

Good point about spinoffs; if those count I played the Bravely Default demo a few months back.
Well, I played BD pretty recently as well! Didn't count it, though.
I think I had another go at XIII-2 this year but I didnt even get off the beach
I played FFVI sometime in late 2013. Didn't finish it, though. I don't finish many games I start these days even if I really like them :/

Going by posts in this thread and the poll votes, over half of the responding members/lurkers have indeed played Final Fantasy this week. Not bad!
FFVII last fall on PSP, needed something to hold me over on my commute, waiting for Zelda 3DS to drop.
I just put it on my Vita and may pick up on that file.
