You will address Prince Cornelius with the proper respect he deserves. :colbert:
I will when he comes his damn hair. :colbert:
Yeah, if I had to choose one hands-down favorite animated film from when I was a kid, it'd be Thumbelina.

I'm sure I'm forgetting important ones. As far as animation goes, The Lion King was always a favourite. I also used to love The Little Mermaid for the music, but even the feminist in child-me was not a fan of the themes. For live action, I loved Alice in Wonderland (1999) and The Wizard of Oz (1939) - the VHS of those were used to death. I didn't watch as many movies as I did television shows as a child though.
>>> Most of the 80`s hollywood flicks, "Ghostbusters" was and still one of my favs.
"The Goonies", "Back to the Future", "Raiders of the Lost Ark", I loved them! being a kid in the 80`s rocked..:luca:

Jesus. You stole my childhood. My answer was going to be almost exactly that. They are all child-friendly, yet mature and dark movies. They can really mess up a kid's head. I believe this to be a good thing. I enjoyed R-rated horror movies and didn't want to be sheltered as a kid. And aside from the doofy love song in The Last Unicorn, none of these movies held back any punches
Some things I'd add to the list, The Land Before Time
House 2
Troll
Gremlins
Batman
Ninja Turtles
And probably my personal favorite out of all the things I can think of: The Neverending Story
Hocus Pocus, Aliens, and Clueless were the movies I'd watch on repeat. The sky was the limit!
