Horatio
Jim?
...He's our mascot? What the smurf?
Also, I vote Slick Willy.
Chocoblu.
Geoff. (Pronounced Jeff.)
Because it has EoFF in it.
(I POSTED THIS IN THE STAFF FORUM AND NO ONE LIKED IT PLEASE SHOW YOUR SUPPORT)

I liked Geoff. :3
I guess I can go with Geoff. Reminds me of that one guy in Rooster Teeth. He's funny.
Geoff/Geoffrey reminds me too much of Joffrey D:
Cecil the chocobo
So does my name, but no one has associated me with him, yet.
Okay, I can start.
Kwehzy Taxi.
Geoff is clever.
Geoff is great. Geoff the Chocobo. Has a certain ring to it.
I say we call him 'Red'.
Or if you dont like irony 'Bluey'
Chocobro?
I'll vote Geoff. If not Geoff, then it's name shall be Q*Bert.
Blueny BoB
I vote against "Geoff" because it doesn't rhyme with "EoFF", unless you are all saying it terribly.
Do people actually say "EoFF" out loud like it's a word?
I just like Geoff because it contains all the letters. Also it's a cool name generally. :choc2:
I pronounce it ee-oh-eff-eff
I'm actually all for it being named Red now.
He could be like Red Forman. We could scroll over him and it could say Dumbass
Keep more names comin', there may be a little tournament if we get enough options - although it appears there are a few favourites already! :)
I think we should go with Rameses Niblick the Third, Kerplunk Kerplunk, Whoops, Where's My Thribble
If not then yeah, Geoff.
Went up on google search &
Mankato ... "Blue earth."
Mavi- Turkish " blue "
Sini- Finnish " blue "
Hinto " blue "
Meena " blue gemstone "
Schtolteheim Reinbach III
"Red" works too. My only concern with "Geoff" is that EoFF's previous mascot is already named "Jeff." We wouldn't want to get them confused.
but he already has a name, it's choc2
Bleu
:monocle:
Khokobo
Daniel
I say all four syllables. ee oh eff eff.
Geoff is very clever, I just hate that name. Only tools spell Jeff that way.
yoff is the only true way

You forgot Khaleesi

Can we name him Emilio? I would be so happy with Emilio. Yamaneko made me think of that. Thanks, Yams.
I vote for Emilio! Am I the only one who says it, "ee-off"?
Emilio the Blue Chocobo
Simon.
Well I'm glad we've established that there's no consistent way of pronouncing EoFF.
I just say Eyes On when I'm referring to the site. :greenie:
We seem to have all reached an impasse in our friendships
I am sorry for asking the question that started this rift. :shifty:
i also say ee-off
i mean if i did if i was telling real people about this place and calling it by name
and when these conversations occur in my head
that's what i say
Sometimes I say it like i-off or eye-off.
It's like my brain starts to sound out the full words and then after the first one is like nah.
I've also said e-oaf before. I've had the ones previously mentioned as well, so I suppose it's different every time.
The Most Noble Lord Horatio Nelson, Viscount and Baron Nelson, of the Nile and of Burnham Thorpe in the County of Norfolk, Baron Nelson of the Nile and of Hilborough in the said County, Knight of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Vice Admiral of the White Squadron of the Fleet, Commander in Chief of his Majesty's Ships and Vessels in the Mediterranean, Duke of Bronté in the Kingdom of Sicily, Knight Grand Cross of the Sicilian Order of St Ferdinand and of Merit, Member of the Ottoman Order of the Crescent, Knight Grand Commander of the Order of St Joachim.
P.S. I would like to un-nominate Geoff. Instead, all hail Nelson.
Well, we can always call him Horatio!
Horatio, you say?

Cid?
I was gonna say Jake, as in dd, but then I liked Geoff, and then I liked Horatio, and... I JUST DON'T KNOW ANYMORE
Geoff makes me think of

While Horatio makes me think of

Horatio is clearly the more awesome-sauce name.
41 names submitted thus far! There will be a time that some sillier suggestions will be weeded out, so keep potential names coming along and we'll start up a tournament so we can set this in stone.

You forgot my nomination: Horatio
He did get "The Most Noble Lord Horatio Nelson, Viscount and Baron Nelson, of the Nile and of Burnham Thorpe in the County of Norfolk, Baron Nelson of the Nile and of Hilborough in the said County, Knight of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Vice Admiral of the White Squadron of the Fleet, Commander in Chief of his Majesty's Ships and Vessels in the Mediterranean, Duke of Bronté in the Kingdom of Sicily, Knight Grand Cross of the Sicilian Order of St Ferdinand and of Merit, Member of the Ottoman Order of the Crescent, Knight Grand Commander of the Order of St Joachim" though.
And Hartio (??)
how about "King"
King the Chocobo
Added Horatio (must have got it confused with Hartio? Was that a nomination or just me going typo?) and King.
Another suggestion: RSL
