From what little I played I liked Terra and the ninja.
Kefka if we're counting villains.

I actually really like Edgar. Sabin is a close second

Edgar, Celes and Sabin come next. Also really like and feel sorry for Gau as well, though never have the poor kid in battles. Sorry Gau.

(SPOILER) I was SO MAD when Leo died, which causes me to have a massive love/ hate relationship with Kefka.
It changes from time to time but currently it's Sabin (previously its been Cyan and Setzer.)
Umaro makes the list, but Setzer doesn't? #Nitpicking :p
This is tough, because I like a lot of them. But I'm going w/ "Other" & Setzer, because I love his weapons. & that he's a gambler on a airship casino.
That has more to do with me making this list while I was half asleep. I misspelled Shadow as well though I'm certain a character named Sahdow would be just as engaging. :p
Terra. If I were mod this poll would have been fixed on both those details :monster:
Kefka is probably #2.

How is Ultros NOT the best FF6 character
Ultros is my favorite villain in the game. Between him & Kefka, VI probably has the 2nd best enemy crew after XII. :ultros:
What makes him so great is how absurd he is. He first shows up wanting to eat the team, but afterwards he's on this craze revenge trip, which makes no sense. Most monsters would just go away after being defeated, but he takes umbrage w/ it & has a vendetta against you.
Ultros and Kefka are probably the best villains in any of the numbered Final Fantasy games.
Edgar and Leo so far, after I finish the game I'll vote.

Locke is probably my favorite. You see that shirt he's wearing? You know what that material is? (SPOILER)Boyfriend material. YES, I WENT THERE. I REGRET NOTHING.
Ultros for life. Of the heroes I liked Mog, Cyan, Sabin, Edgar and Locke. Relm was funny too.
Hard to pick one since there is no real heroe but I like Edgar, he's cool :)
Celes. Terra was a close second for me.
They were standard mages, which is my main go to class.
Shadow is by far my favorite.
I love his mysteriousness that he exumes each time he comes and goes in the story. No one crosses him, and no one runs his life. His backstory as a train-robber was pretty interesting which you can then see leads to his attitude he carries throughout the game.
Overall, a great game with so many awesome characters. Sabin gets my 2nd vote.

I like them all, so it is really hard to decide, but I'd say Locke because of his backstory and his evolution throughout the game!
