I've played one of them, I think it was the first, but not for very long at all and I barely remember a thing. I hope to play a couple eventually...
I played the first one a long time ago for a few hours and it just wasn't for me. I heard KHII improved a lot on what I felt the first game did wrong, but I never really had the drive to play the series, especially since it has Street Fighter II syndrome--the inability to come out with a proper sequel while releasing a boatload of spinoffs/remakes/ports.
Finished I, II, BBS
Played Days, CoM, DDD
I have only played the first. I had considered playing the second recently, but then they announced remix 2.5 so i'm going to wait for that.
All that are out and available easy.
I, II, CoM (never finished) and BBS (finished with all three characters).
Finished I, II, Days, BBS, 3D. I will get round to Coded and CoM!
Beat I and II when they first came out. Then I went back and beat CoM. Then I didn't play anything for awhile and kinda forgot about it and then just a few months ago I got re:Coded and beat that.
Beat all of the ones available in the West.
The two main entries and the Gameboy Advance game, long ago. I didn't have the systems or energy to seek out the rest. I'll probably pick up III and wonder what the smurf is even happening anymore. For all I know the characters are just keyblades in the loose shapes of faces at this point.
Except 3D as it was not mine.
KH, KHII, KHReMIX Japanese, KH ReMIX German, KHDays, KHReCoded, KHIIFM+, KHBBS Japanese, KHCoM

I and II. Not all that interested in the spin off titles.
I played II and some of Re:Coded (didn't like it much). I really want to play I but the stupid disc doesn't work :(
None :(
I've played Kingdom Hearts I & II, but none of the others. I never got around to getting Birth by Sleep as my PSP was stolen (along with my Vita) a couple years back.
the first KH i played was BBS on the psp..
after that i got the remake of the 1st one for ps3.. it was horrible.
as much as i loved BBS i hated KH1 :l
i know it doesnt make sense but KH is a psp game for me
None... sadly. I mean to get on that but I don't have a copy!
I have beaten Kingdom Hearts, Chain of Memories (and Reverse/Rebirth), Kingdom Hearts II, and 358/2 Days. I've beaten Aqua's scenario on Birth By Sleep, but haven't played the other scenarios in the game, and I couldn't get more than an hour into Dream Drop Distance.
I've played most of them really, 1, 2, COM, BBS, Recoded, Days, and DDD.
I and II. Does Square really think I'm made out of money to play it on other platforms?
Not coded but Re:coded... not mobile, not 3DS, not "chi", not Insi- (funny to mark it anyway), not III (ditto)...
I played Kingdom Hearts because of the FFs. I bought it and II. I bought CoM because my mom bought a GBA. I bought 358 and Re:coded because my mom bought a DS. I would have played BBS since I owned a PSP, but since it broke, there was really no point. They released CoM as a Re. Hopefully they'll do the same with the other titles. For those few of us with little reason to pick up a PS3 let alone a PS4, releasing the handheld games as console games would provide that reason.
What the hell is KHχ? I've played all the rest.
I dunno, I grabbed a bunch of names from Wikipedia. It might only be out in Japan or something, but y'never know, some people here play games using the Japanese lingo.
It clears out a lot of plot holes between CoM and II. Plus, Xion becomes pretty dang important in later games. The datascape? Not so much. And Days gets bonus points for being genuinely heartrending.
All the ones on that list up until Dream Drop Distance which I never got around to picking up. Mobile & Chi aren't really feasible to get outside of Japan!
Just the first one. I didn't enjoy it to be honest, although I'm sure one day I'll give it another chance.
Not counting the mobile games, chi, and the Final Mix games, pretty much all of them.
>>> I played a bit of KH1.. Then I realized it was a terrible game and I stopped..:luca:
>>> What I can say, Im not a Disney fanboy..:luca:
It's still got some excellent gameplay in its own right. Yes, maybe not in the first game, I'll give you that, but the combat in BBS and 3D is nothing short of glorious...:luca:
I only played the first game and a demo of the second. It was fun, but not a series I go out of my way to play.
As opposed to the story which is a convoluted cluster-smurf.
All the Final Fantasy characters stand around doing absolutely nothing.
The character designs are terrible. Many if not all of the FF characters are caricatures of themselves(Sephiroth's motive for fighting Cloud is because he is Cloud's "darkness", also he loses a 1v1 fight to a scrub-ass beach bum with goofy shoes).
The first game was a decent novelty and nothing more. Everything else is overrated trash.
Sephiroth is how he is in canon. Read OtWtaS. And he held back. He did nothing but wipe the dirt off of his coat. Also non-canon stories, which KH is as other reality, don't need accuracy.
All of this Kingdom Hearts talk has really made me want to play the first one but it doesn't work :crying2:
I don't need to play anything because I know who he is. I have the game 4 times, such as pretty much everything about the Compilation and the Ultimania. He is like that. Sephiroth was directly adapted from his thoughts in the lifestream in On the Way to a Smile. They changed the writing from "bound to memories" to bound to darkness. he is how he is. A super powerful, arrogant character who holds a grudge against Cloud and whose script has been changed from "memories" to "darkness" for that one coming back moment. Still his "coming back" power is also existant in the Compilation and the memories/darkness made his core of existence even more powerful. Only a single point was not like Sephiroth really is and that is that he was interested in the Keyblade as normally he would not be interested in anyone but the Keyblade promises power and that also fits his desire to get more powerful. So even when the introduction of him wanting it was off to somehow give him a reason to fight Sora - though that also could have been worded different and not even as extreme as in the original - the rest fits. And he already had his arrogant personality of "I am the strongest and I know it and because of that, while not showing off like an idiot I very well show arrogance, but I have been surprised by someone who mobilized his inner strength as he does not fight only for himself and that sickens me and so I show my arrogance more now by totally äusing my power to prove who I am and enjoying it" personality in Final Fantasy VII already.
One, chain of memories and two before the whole series get so confusing with the ridiculous amount of spinoffs and crap. It is like trying to give birth to KH III after KH II but suddenly you absorb the baby back.:(
I've played 1, 2, CoM and 34045860329423 Days. Haven't finished the latter two.
