I wish EoFFers would watch more films period especially because a majority of what is on television is pure garbage. I've seen the ones mentioned except Wasabi, Grosse Point Blank and Watership Down. I'll check those out.
In particular I wish more EoFFers could quote movies like Heathers, Labyrinth, Wet Hot American Summer, Trolls 2, and The Sandalot.
You remind me of the babe.
What Babe?
The Babe with the power
Power?
The power of Voodoo
hoodoo?
you do
do what?
Remind me of the babe...
Marry me now.
If you haven't seen 12 Angry Men and To Kill a Mockingbird then lmao at ur upbringing
Also less essential but only cool people have watched them:
Withnail & I
Miller's Crossing
Blue Velvet
Miller's Crossing is a great film. I've never been so mesmerized by a hat flying in the wind. Stuff like that was cool before American Beauty had to be a hispter about it.
Untouchable
The Emperor's New Groove
Young Guns (and Young Guns II to a lesser extent)
Demolition Man
Megamind
There are loads of others, but these are probably the ones that people are least likely to watch out of my favourites. Most of the others get a lot of push from other members of EoFF anyway.
The Godfather is probably the most overrated film of all time. Good lord, the first hour is just painful. The rest of it is nearly as bad. The Godfather part 2 is only marginally better because I liked Robert Do Niro in it.
The other three films you listed are better.
Amazing films. Twelve Angry Men was one of my Dad's favourites and subsequently is one of mine.
He's finally matched his meet. You really licked his arse.
Have a joy-joy day, Bubba. :)
I actually agree with that. Like all of his films they could be cut down more. I don't need to see a baby with a glass on their stomach. Directors can argue all they want how important a meaningless scene is because they like the particular shot or whatever dumb reason they've devised in their head, but at the end of the day they're probably wrong and this is why their directors and not Steven Spielberg.

More non-Hollywood movies in general
-12 Angry Men
-Cool Runnings
-Se7en
-Gladiator
-Olympus Has Fallen
Ohhhhh Changeling... Such a smurfed up movie!
Mighty Ducks.. omg.
Changeling was great acting by Angelina Jolie and a very smurfed up real story. "WHERE IS MY SON?! WHERE IS HE?!" I just watched it a few weeks ago for the second time.
But yassssss Cool Runnings! I love that film. That was the first film I got my bf to watch with me because he told me he liked movies like Twilight and I was like, "no watch this please". And yes to anything by Michael Gondry including all of his music videos. The man is a technical genius. I have watched Eternal Sunshine for a Spotless Mind about 546024646 times now.
3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain. Why? SO YOU COULD FEEL MY PAIN!!!
I need to get my hands on that movie. Winona Ryder is the love of my life, I've had three different sets based off that movie, and it's my current desktop background. THERE IS NO EXCUSE!
On the Waterfront
The Royal Tenenbaums
The Darjeeling Limited
Chinatown
No Country for Old Men
Heathers and Wet Hot American Summer as honorable mentions. There is no reason for anyone to have not seen either of these, they are both brilliant. I would have mentioned Raiders of the Lost Ark but I am of the strictest faith that everyone here has seen it and that it is a no-brainer.
Temple of Doom was better. :shifty:
Oh, you're one of those people.
The Fountain.
that's it.
I always have trouble narrowing down my choices in these threads, but I'm going to give it a shot. They don't have to be the only five movies I wish you would watch, after all.
Rashomon
Some Like It Hot
The Good, The Bad and the Ugly
Robocop
O Brother, Where Art Thou?
Moonrise Kingdom
The Royal Tenenbaums
The Darjeeling Limited
Spirited Away
My Neighbor Totoro
