I love Goofy! My favorite Disney character. Old School Goofy was the best.
I even have one of those Goofy face hats from Disney World. :D

I grieved for the loss of Mrs Goof too, Mr Goofy. I hope your son Max Goof grows up into a fine young man. :(
You may consider Pluto as a suitable partner of life if you want, I don't think Mickey will have any objections since he is busy being a keyblade master now. :cry:

Pluto is categorised as a dwarf planet. I suppose you could say Pluto is technically still a planet... much like Tyrion is still a Lannister.

Also, a couple of weeks ago, while I was closing California Adventure's candy store in the middle of the night, the entertainment department was having a dress rehearsal outside. I walked out to head home and when I did, there was Goofy... half-dressed. Oh my!
OMG! It's been years since I've seen A Goofy Movie! My cousin and I would watch it almost every time I went over his house. He had the soundtrack and everything and we'd rock out to it all the time. :D

From memory he was a guard dog that worked at a prison and was owned by a prison guard while Mickey was in prison, for unknown reasons. However Mickey escaped, and Pluto went with him.

Goofy isn't a missing link, he's the culmination of a million years of uninterrupted doggy evolution. Same with Donald and Mickey. And seeing as how dogs were helped along their evolutionary track by humans, we can assume that humans used to exist in the history of the Disney universe but were long ago killed off in a "Planet of the Apes"-esque take-over.
