A third Chrono game where we go back in time and fix all the depressing stuff that happened to the Trigger gang in Cross
Is Mega Man Legends close enough to count?
I'm still waiting for Valkyrie Profile: Hrist.
Suikoden or Dark Cloud
Duel Hearts? Musashi? Guardian Crusade, Legaia, Legend of Dragoon, Alundra, Ephemeral Fantasia, Xenogears (though I've still never played it), Tales of Destiny (while Tales of Destiny II was not a direct sequel, a PS2 true sequel Tales of Destiny 2 was released in 2002), the Dark C... series (Dark Cloud and Dark Chronicle aka Dark Cloud 2), Lunar, Tsugunai Atonement... I'm sure there are others, but the names escape me.
One of the first RPGs I played was at my cousin's house, Beyond the Beyond.
I know it's not the greatest game ever, but I just cannot find myself a copy of this game.
Both this game and Brave Fencer Musashi. :'( Miss those two so much.
Definitely the Chrono series. Perhaps a third one to fill any gaps or inconsistencies, and further develop the universe.
Suikoden or Chrono.
The day my armies finally march on Harmonia, my RPG life will be complete.
Shining Force
Golden Sun
Chrono
Megaman Legends
Megaman Battle Network
Septerra Core
The World Ends With You
Soul Blazer
Paper Mario (because Super Paper Mario and Sticker Star both made some incredibly terrible design changes, take it back to the series that evolved out of Super Mario RPG)
Seiken Densetsu
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (Why is there no Wii U version of this yet?!)
That's not one!
Chrono series
Final Fantasy Tactics (the original)
Phantasy Star (offline)
Breath o' Fire
Valkyrie Profile definitely.
Perhaps some good news for you: Solo Remix has been around on smartphones recently, and one of the ending images hints at a sequel.
Gonna jump on the Chrono bandwagon, and although technically it isn't dead yet, I hope Star Ocean gets another game that's as fun and ridiculously daring as Till the End of Time.
Lost Odyssey. It's basically like being in an alternate timeline where FF didn't stop being full-on balls to the wall awesome. I'm not sure what, if anything Mistwalker is up to these days.
Earth Bound or Dark Cloud.
Legend of Legaia or Kingdoms of Amalur!
Mugen Souls.
i am shameless but also MSZ had a fun battle system
