Do mosquitos like to bite you?

I dunno. My dad was always the target, so I have managed to evade them while abroad. We don't get mozzies in the UK. Midgies are perhaps a more terrible substitute.
I had no idea there were places without mosquitoes! I feel silly now xD
OMG I HATE MIDGES! They swarm outside the door at my parents place. Ugh. I hated those things.
On topic though, mosquitos do seem to find me tasty. I currently have four bites from being outside grilling for 15 or so minutes earlier today.
We just don't have the right climate! xD
I get a few every summer, but it's never that big of deal. Just have to have the will power to ignore it. A technique that works for me is to scratch AROUND the bite. You don't agitate the bite and you trick your nerves into thinking that you actually scratched it, so it provides some relief.
This is neat.... If you think mosquitoes like you more than most people, maybe you're right. I know they LOVE me and I've avoided the park a lot since mosquito season really started. I've been wanting to go back but I don't want to be dinner. The mosquitoes here even eat through clothing
They seem to swarm me while others complain of one or two errant bites...
:(
Mozzies rarely get me. I don't know, it might just be because I am small and cold and they want to go for larger, warmer humans first.
My main problem has always been the gnats around here! Growing up they were obsessed with me but recently they seem to have lost interest, I'm happy!
On holiday I have to cover myself in repellent to avoid being bitten. I react quite badly, too, and swell and bleugh! Luckily, I don't really have to worry about them here.
All the time. I put Bandaids on my bites now so I dont unknowingly scratch my skin apart while sleeping.
Once I was so sick of waking up with mosquito bites I slept with a long sleeve shirt, long pants and a balaclava on and I woke up with mosquito bites on my eyelids.
I bring a frog with me wherever I go and the froggy will take care of those mozzies for me.
Sometime I help myself to them if I'm hungry.
If it's an insect and it bites, I'll be attacked within seconds of going outside.
I used to be when I was younger, and not only that but I'd also get really bad reactions to them. They would swell right up and turn into large blisters. That stopped when I was about 7 though. Now I don't seem to get bitten as much, Locky tends to attract quite a few bites though so maybe she's distracting them from me.
A few years ago I was in Spain with my friend- we counted 74 bites on her!! She was absolutely covered! Thankfully I'm not quite as bad but do tend to get quite a few. I have one on my ankle at the moment that is driving me INSANE!!!
I haven't been bit in a very long time. I guess I am repugnant to mosquitoes too :/
Living in Ireland, thankfully not.
Went to Malta about 10 years ago though, smurfers wined and dined on me...
Yes, I very much am.
I still remember going to this church reunion thing up in Iowa one summer. The mosquitoes there were all huge, and they were really bad. We'd have a campfire some nights where at the end they'd make us all stand in a circle, holding hands, and someone would say a prayer. I could feel like 20 giant mosquitoes biting my arms and it was a miserable experience.
I use bug repellant when I go outside, so no. It's the spiders inside that I have a problem with.
Bugs love my blood, yeah :(
I never had much of a problem with it before but for some reason I must've been bitten well over 30 times this past month. It's getting a bit frustrating.
Any time I venture outside it's like a huge neon light. They flock to me and I have to itch the rest of the evening.
Nah, they mostly leave me alone.
I moved to Korea from the UK so experiencing them on a regular basis was a surprise treat for me when I arrived. The locals tell me that the mosquitos only bite dirty people. So naturally I get bitten a lot.
I mostly get bitten when I'm sleeping or while being outside. Bugs just sneak up on me. I couldn't tell you if they were a mosquitoes or not. My mom gets it worse than I do.
It's a nightmare here. Mosquitoes are all over the place, especially in the summer evenings, and no matter how hard i try to avoid them i always get bitten on the ankles, every year!
Mosquitoes are my delicacy.
I currently have 5 on my right arm and 2 on my neck. I hate them so much I was thinking of having a bug zapper next to my bed or something.
