Man this movie was full of weird and wonderful things. I think that's why I enjoyed it so much.
Also Haku was p cool and I wish I had a bf who could turn into a dragon. :(

The song at the end makes me cry.
Cuz I want to be a kid again so very much. You know Miyazaki made the film -because- of that song? And it's based on a little girl he knew IRL that was kind of going through a "growing up" phase or something. IDK It's on the DVD in the bonus features.

This is probably my favourite Ghibli movie. It's also the first one I saw, which may have something to do with it. Still, I feel like it has that extra something.

Brilliant movie. Disturbing on some levels, perhaps, certainly for little ones, but man it's so good, it's worth it.
I don't think it's a coincidence that 2/3 of my favorite Ghibli films have Susuwatari (Soot Sprites). Hmmm, movie crossover between My Neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away. The world needs this.

One of my fav movie! Love the story, characters and music. No-Face is quite a poor thing as all he wanted is acceptance and companionship. :(
