I like Shiva the most!
Shiva. She's been my favorite summon since Final Fantasy VIII.

Shiva. She was awesome in FFX.
I'm always a huge sucker for the ice element, so Shiva gets that in her favor.
She also is just awesome in general.
My favorite Shiva. I know a lot of people love FFX's, but for me, the Guardian Force version was the best.
Gotta be Shiva. I've always liked the Ice element.

Okay it would have been a tough battle had you left bahamut out. But you didn't so. Bahamut hands down, every game he's in, ever. Dragons yo.
I had to go with Bahamut. Had to. Though I really like Shiva and Ramuh too. They're both great summons in FFXI.

Alexander is my favorite.
Though of the list Bahamut is my fave followed by Shiva.
That's weird that Mog stayed on screen during Alexander's summon.
Actually none of the cast disappear, Alexander is just covering up the other three, there are a few summons where the party doesn't actually vanish.Quote:

I liked early final fantasy's love for tabletop-gaming references. So, Bahamut.
It was a tie between Ifrit and Bahamut for me. Ifrit is the most consistently awesome looking beast, while Bahamut can be rather hit or miss in appearance, but his highs are better than Ifrit's highs.
In the end I went for Ifrit so he could have at least one vote. :smash:
Ifrit sounds like he would have a lovely bass singing voice so I'm gonna go with him.

RAMUH... should not even be on that list. He's not really all that impressive. It would be cooler if he were a playable character who always had the most powerful lightning spells. But he's some old dude with one spell who is usually quickly replaced by superior specimens. Ifrit is a djinn but looks like a demon, Shiva is genderbend of a Hindu god, Bahamut is a freakin' dragon.
Other candidates: Diablos really is a demon, Leviathan is an Asian dragon, Odin (Squee should do some kind of lore explanation for why Odin uses the Zantetsuken instead of his Gungnir), Kujata is the giant elemental bullpig, Alexander (I've really understood why Alexander is some kind of giant mechanized castle), Phoenix, Ark is a transformer, Eden is the size of a school, Madeen (I personally prefer the IX version), Quezacotl is based on Quetzalcoatl (winged serpentine Mesoamerican deity), Anima is some kind of representation of the psyche (in-game, I don't know what she's supposed to be), The Magus Sisters.

Followed closely by Shiva because she was so baddass in FFVIII
Shiva and Bahamut. Both are totally badass in most of the entries. :D
