So, I just saw Interstellar not too long ago and loved it. I just love space in general, and this movie touched on some very specific things that fascinated me throughout my childhood.
Anyways, it has gotten me thinking about some of the classics I've missed over the years though, such as 2001: A Space Odyssey. I figured I'd come to you all to see what some of your favorite movies are in which space travel in some form or fashion is a pretty heavy part in the movie!

I dunno, I wouldn't call The Fifth Element a space movie. It's pretty much all set on Earth or that weird planet with the singing blue girl. There are only a couple of "spacey" bits.Quote:
