Have you got rhythm, or two left feet?
No.
No, not at all
I have performed in the past. I am no longer a good dancer.
Hahhaha, no.
Doesn't stop me shakin' ma bootay when a good song comes on.
I have even performed at one point, and yet I am absolutely atrocious today!
I can twerk. Is that considered dancing? I hoop dance? That is dancing, but with a hula hoop!
My friend's call me the whitest dancer they've ever seen. Good to be the best at something, I guess. :kakapo:
I used to be told I was a really good dancer despite the fact that I have little formal training. The rare occasions I've gotten formal training haven't been particularly helpful, either.
Hell no.
Still the first one on the dance floor though!
Well if you're a musician, rhythm is part of your job.
I only lack two things when it comes to dancing: the body for it, and the practical experience. I can keep time, but throwing my hunky chunky body around would only be for my calorie-burning benefit. I wouldn't subject anyone to watching it.
No. I have -10000 rhythm.
I'm a good Dance Dance Revolutioner.
Was never trained in anything beyond childhood, but I can dance. I performed something in a show last year with some friends, but nowadays I just like dancing to stuff alone in my room and copying moves off YouTube videos.
I think I'm a good dancer and I've also performed dance. (Was v. briefly a cheerleader)
Me home alone irl
I am the master of the following dances:
*awkward white man dance
*I'm drunk and maybe I don't look so bad dance
*there's no way I'm dancing to that sober
*oh s*** "Get Lucky" is on I don't care how much of an asshole I look
*moving hips is for losers
*ironic disco dance because of course I can look okay doing a dance no one takes seriously anymore
*enough people are on the dance floor so no one will notice how I look
*does this dance make my ass look phat?
According to my GF, no.
I have rhythm, but I wouldn't say I'm good, just okay. Definitely not terrible. The problem I have is variety and also doing the things I'm thinking my head where I'm the best choreographer ever but actually acting it out is just like nah. I've also learned that regardless of anything really, the more comfortable you are with your body the better you'll be at dancing and as I've become more comfortable, my dancing has improved exponentially. It will likely decrease again once I hit 30 maybe.
I'm like a terrified giraffe on an icy lake.
*visualizes*
*cries*
I beg to differ. In your pomp, you and Paul are quite fantastic :D
Definitely agree with this. My rhythm on guitar is (if I do say so myself) pretty top notch. For me though, this doesn't translate to my legs or hips. I am an awful dancer. It won't stop me from giving it a go after a few drinks though... as a few EOFFers can attest to.
I always think of Guardian Forces from FFVIII whenever I see girlfriend shortened to GF. I can just picture Quezacotl looking at you from the edge of the dance floor with a wing over its face shaking its head.
The worst thing with me, is that I'm not even going to attempt to dance. I'd be the awkward guy in the club who sits in the lounge area. Perhaps this is why I've never gone to any of the University club nights. They all involve dancing.
