Let's talk transportation.
I travel by map
I walk.
Depends on where I'm going....
If I goto Manhattan for whatever reason, always the train.
Queens Mall? Bus or have Jay drive me.
Target in Brooklyn? We drive.
If it's just to go get food from across the street, beer from the corner store, or a few groceries, we walk.
Winchester is a rather small city really and so I just walk everywhere. It's also really hilly, which isn't much fun. :sleepy:
I've only used the bus once in Winchester, and that was to go to the Science Centre out of town (which would have been a very long walk), so that's justified. Walking is free anyway, so call me frugal.
Car.
Bus/Train/Walk. Walk if I'm going somewhere nearby. Bus & Train for everything farther. For family get-togethers, I usually get a lift.
i ride ze shoopuff
I wish I had added shoopuff as an option.
The fact that I did not is perhaps my biggest regret on this website.
Other people's cars :smug:
There are more walkers on this site than I thought.
Walkers? OH NO!
My car, last time I tried teleporting my arm got stuck in a wall.
in true seriousness though i do walk.
Towns in Ireland are pretty small, so I walk pretty much everywhere.
My car. But I'm from a small village so I definitely need it.
Depends on where I'm going, most of the time I walk places if they're in that sort of range. If I go somewhere outside of that range then I'll get a bus or train sometimes, depending on where it is I'll get a cab but that's rare these days.
I never knew I was snazzy.
Buses and sometimes taxis. I'm saving for a car which I hope to get in the next few months, so I'm looking forward to getting back on the road.
My car, farm trucks or a tractor.
I'm several miles uphill and winding country roads from town.
Specifically around my town
My car or walking on a nice day.
Outside my town
My car or a train.
I live in a small town in the middle of a big city, so I walk to the grocery store/post office/bank/library/doctor. Public transportation here sucks though so other than that I drive. I like to ride my bike when I can but I need a new chain for it and I can't put my toddler on it.
I use my car for getting to work or trips further out in town/grocery shopping.
For things close by we walk.
I do have a motorcycle, but I'm never going to get motivated and get it back on the road.
I used to ride a bike everywhere, or rely on public transportation when it was a bit far. Now I just drive everywhere, at least for as long as there's snow around.
Pull up the world map with R3 and the airship takes me wherever I want.
I live in the country so the only thing within easy walking distance are neighbors and one convenience store about four miles away. I drive everywhere, but when I was in college I used the bus a lot.
I drive places. Really fast like.
I walk or take the subway. If i have a lot of bags and/or need access to my phone I take the taxi. There is zero sense to drive in NYC. Bus or train to commute and walk usually when I'm off the subway.
walk/bus/bike/uber. Poll needs multiple options; entirely dependent on where I'm going and what I'm doing.
Tram, bus and walking. Occasionally taxi.
