Did you have a big ol' brick of a Game Boy?
(Edit: It appears that I forgot to add Game & Watch :shobon: )
Yeah, I had the first generation GameBoy.
Oh, I remember the Game Boy. And the Game Boy Advance, which I forgot, contrary to its name, still didn't have a back-light. The times I had to use a lamp and direct it at the screen... the memories.
I also just realized I've ticked all four boxes. I don't really remember being that much of a Nintendo handheld fan but I guess the evidence doesn't lie.
I've had a Game Boy, GB Color (turquoise!), DS (white), and 3DS (red).
Original gameboy with a green-yellow monochrome display. Bought it off of an older friend. It came with three games: Super Mario Land 1 and SML 2, and Cutthroat Island.
Then I didn't have anything portable console until I bought a second hand PSP and then a second hand 3DS. I'll buy a 4DS XL sometime soon though.
DS Lite and 2DS
I've had every Gameboy. And they've all been purple, except for my DS which is a boring grey.
I've owned a variation or two of each handheld from Nintendo. :)
Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, DS, and 3DS, so all of the above basically.
Game Boy, Game Boy Color (yellow) Game Boy Advance (purpleish blue ugly color), Nintendo DS (blue).
I didn't ever have many games for any of them. I think Ultima 2 and Mortal Kombat for GB, Pokemon and Zelda Oracle of the Ages for GBC, Golden Sun and Zelda A Link to the Past/Four Swords for GBA, FFIII and all of the Castlevania games for DS.
I have the following:
Original Game Boy
Game Boy Color
Game Boy Advance
Game Boy Advance SP
Game Boy Advance Player
Game Boy Advance Micro
Nintendo DS
Nintendo DS Lite
Nintendo DSi
Nintendo DSiXL
Nintendo 3DS
Nintendo 3DSXL
A couple of the older ones are lying around somewhere in my parent's house or possibly with my sister's home, but I do own them all.
GB GBC 3DS and 3DS-XL
I've sold the 3DS but still have the others
It's lonely being the only one to have never owned not only any Nintendo handhelds, but no handhelds in general.
I don't even enjoy handhelds all that much, it's more out of neccessity. My days are numbered and to get the most gaming out of my life I need to be able to play when I'm not at home. Every 10-minute break at work, school, uni or family gatherings counts!
GB, GBC, GBA SP, DS lite, and a 2DS.
Wish I had a GBA Micro though. Those things were sweet.
I wanted a Micro too, but I never found one. :(
I have owned a . . . GB, GBC, GBA, GBA SP, DS, DS Lite, and a 3DS, and usually more than one of each, barring the 3DS and original.
There was a Zellers in town years ago that had a bunch of Micros they never sold until one day I went and they were all gone. Wish I'd jumped on one when I had the chance.
i had a Gameboy Pocket and Coulor. i had a GBA and GBA SP. i had a DS lite ( about 3). and i now have a 3ds XL. so yeah all of the above ( unless you included Game and watch)
Yeah, everything on that list, and a fair few varients. Also got the New 3DS I'm picking up Friday. :p
I have a Gameboy.......somewhere. I have a Gameboy Advance sitting in my RX-7 right now working as a rudimentary interface for it's engine management system.
I played the crap out of my Gameboy when I was little. I never used my Advance for much of anything. The car is a long term project, so the system just sits there.
Owned:
Clear see-through GameBoy fat
Silver GameBoy Pocket (which was the sleekest electronic device of all time when it released )
Launch GBA
Launch DS Lite
Ruby Red 3DS
I still have most of my GameBoys in some form or fashion. The only one I don't still have is the original. I have the pocket, color, advance SP, ds lite, and 3DS. I will probably be getting rid of the lite, though. I don't really need it anymore.
I used to own a GBA. I traded that in for a 3DS and downloaded the games I had.
I now own a New 3DS and am currently going through a system transfer. I already like the bigger screen and the improved 3D tracking. Playing 3D games on full 3D mode (with a bigger screen) will be so much cooler and convenient now. :)
Original brick Gameboy (the first system I ever played video games on!)
Pocket Gameboy
Gameboy Advance
DS Lite
3DS
