I guess I should have done this...

I registered back in 2013... y'all can blame/thank Shorty for that, I've known her for years and she dragged me here XD

But I sort of disappeared. I dunno what happened, I just didn't get stuck here... realising now what a mistake that was.

But earlier this week she managed to drag me here again and I am determined to stick around this time, so I've made a newbie thread because this time I'm for keeps so if you want to get to know me properly then ask me stuff.

I live in Aberdeen in Scotland, I've been a FF fan since I got my first PSX in 1998.

I'm a cosplayer and convention attendee as often as possible, so if you attend big UK comic cons there's a chance I'll be there.

I'm a huge Yu-Gi-Oh fan, although that might be obvious by my sig and avatar set. I'm a massive nerd for Shun Kurosaki, probably would be my name if I joined lately.

I spent far too long playing the Master System version of Sonic 2 on tuesday, just a random bit of info there XD I do so very much like the old 2D sonic games.

Is there any other version of Sonic 2 worth playing? SEGA is the best.

tbh Mega Drive/Genesis andMaster System versions were both awesome imo

Favourite FF is tough, I've gone through phases of saying IV and VI, then phases of VIII and IX... Right now I'm saying X though because I'm playing through it for only the second time ever and it's refreshing to play a game again that I don't remember perfectly it's almost a challenge again.

As far as Yu-Gi-Oh series... I love aspects of all of them. DM is the nostalgia series, GX is light-hearted and silly (well, until Judai gets a bit darker mid season 3), 5Ds was a maturer series with a lot of serious characters (and plus I ship YuseixAki so yeah XD), ZeXaL I actually love, because at the point I am at EVERY SINGLE villain has been redeemed. I am a sucker for redemption tales, I hate when villains are killed off needlessly. Plus I am XYZ trash and ZeXal introduced XYZ Monsters. But then Arc V happened. I'd actually fallen out of the fandom for a long time, hence why I'm only part way through ZeXaL, but a lucky encounter with an old friend on Tumblr set me off on a chain of events that got me watching Arc V. And wow. I am 100% immersed in that series. I love how all of the summon types are featured. I love the characters (mmostly, Futoshi can smurf off), I love the relationships, I love the new monster designs, I love that fabulous piece of trout in my sig XD

Also I forgot to mention the other thing I'm mad about at the moment is Jojo's Bizarre Adventure XD

Final Fantasy X? I like you. Ignore Wolf and Fynn about that game. They're poopy.

Signature set is based on the person in it, Shun Kurosaki from Yu-Gi-Oh Arc V. The mechanical bird on the right hand side is his signature monster card, Raidraptor - Rise Falcon. The text at the top is the chant he says whenever he summons it. The red symbol in the middle is the symbol of the Raidraptors archetype. The background is his hometown burning.

Yeah the last couple times we hung out she just kept punching the same spot over and over again. I pleaded with her to stop, but she didn't care. I showed her how bad it was bruising, too. My bruise looked like someone smashed a smurf with grapes. Shorty did not care. Without breaking eye contact she just kept nailing the spot, determined to ruin my groin.

11/10 would hang out with again.
