Which game genres are you no good with? I'm not talking about not liking, I mean games you may even like but have no real skill with.
Fighting games. I just button mash. The one exception was maybe original Smash.
I don't suck at fighting games, but I'm not as good at them as my interest in them might imply. I'm not really good at very fast paced action games, but I still play them.
Puzzle games.
Fighting games even though I love them so much. Yeah, I just mash and hope for the best. :/
Action and Stealth Games. I just used cheat codes to beat MGS1-3.
I'll Sa fighting games too. I enjoy them but I get lit up all the time playing them.
FPS games. Only 3 FPS games i`m kinda good at are fallout, mass effect, star wars.
Yes.
All of them. I guess I can play an RPG, so I won't include that
Shooters: I have no practice or experience so no
Fighters: I just button mash. If a combo has over 4 buttons OR over two directional buttons, I am just lost
Platformers: sharky and I are playing Super Mario 3. I'm basically just there as comic relief
Horror games: Get too scared
Sneaking games: Can't sneak for the life of me
Strategy RPG's: As much as I like them, I do not have a strategic mind. This crushed me because growing up and playing Suikoden I always wanted to be the strategist if I was in the Suikodenverse, but now I realize I would get everyone killed. Strategy games take a lot out of me.
Visual novels: If it has options, I will pick the wrong ones and get the terrible ending. I will then play again and pick new options and still somehow get the terrible ending.
And most other genres I don't have enough experience with to be good at them!
Fighting games and platformers. I was never a Mario fan or anything really like that. I'm sure if I played them enough I'd do fine but yeah I suck for the most part right now.
I just button mash for fighting games.
Survival Horror games are a huge weakness for me. Especially ones with limited saves. Limited resources in general is bad news for me.
Straight FPS Games (Not bad at RPG hybrid ones, ala Borderlands), but I typically hate them.
I kind of suck at fighting games. I got really good at SSB: Brawl at one point! (I was on par with a regional tournament player), and I started getting good at Blazblu: Calamity Trigger!, but stopped practicing. Outside of those two, I just kind of suck in general. :p
ssb brawl was the one that was specifically designed to ruin high level play :p
I am bad at fighting games, as in I am bad at playing fighting games and a sore loser.
I am not the best at strategy games either. I enjoy resource gathering too much
FPS & Driving games. The exceptions for FPS are Doom, South Park, Goldeneye 007 & maybe one or two others. I'm bad @ Call of Duty & Halo. The exception for Driving Games are Mario Kart & the old school Pole Position. I'm not too bad @ some of the NES driving games, but anything like Gran Turismo & I'm crashing into things left & right.
I don't really suck at any, I don't think. I've got good reactions and really smurfing clever.
I'll probably say Puzzle games as occasionally I can get stuck on a really simple puzzle. If I have to look up the answer online and it turns out to be ridiculously easy then I have to punish myself by spending four hours in the chamber of fire.
I seem to be average across the genres.
I rage the same amount at all of them.
Ask pumpkin about the "golden challenges" recently.
Fighting games and survival horror. Fighting games because I do so poorly at them and button-mashing rarely works out. Survival horror because I am often too frightened and cautious to move and when things inevitably jump out or run at the screen, I am crippled with fear and end up dying. :stare:
There's no genre I've ever struggled at in 1-player mode, but in FPS and fighting games I am not at all competitive in multiplayer.
Just so we're on the same page. When I say I'm bad at fighting games I obviously mean compared to the average online player :p
That's okay. I'm bad at fighting games compared to the average easy difficulty AI. Except in Dissidia, of course. I can rock me some Dissidia, even in online play. SSS Vicious behavior with all characters speaks for itself.
I'm decent enough at Tekken for the average casuals, but then I'll stumble across someone from the Korean server and I get reduced to cinders. Brutal. ^^;
Korean server? I thought tekken matches were p2p.
I've only played one strategy game, but I've yet to beat the final level of Advance Wars. That thing is impossible.
Fighting games and FPS. Fighting games I don't feel so bad about, because if this thread has taught me anything it's that everyone sucks at them. I used to think I was a competent FPS player until I discovered online gaming.
Im not good at fighting games and I don't like them enough to try and get good.
Im not good at RTS but I want to be able to finish the campaigns on them which I never can.
I also suck at multiplayer FPS, im 50/50 at singleplayer depending on the game
>>> Racing, shooters, sports, rhythm games.:luca:
I'm bad at tower defense games, city builders and fighting games.
