Can is probably the best. Fountain is a close 2nd. If I get a bottle @ work, I put it in my cup & fill it w/ a lot of ice, so it tastes like a fountain drink.

What do you mean by fountain? Is this some weird American thing?
Anyway, I like a can. Just something about that cold metal that makes it taste nicer. Bottle is mediocre.

Never thought I'd be able to vote for the 'I don't drink soda' option in this. But back when I did I'd have to agree with Angus that can was the best.
When I do drink soda I prefer it to be in a glass bottle.
Plastic bottles are the most convenient.
I don't.
From a fountain if it's free refills. Otherwise I like getting a glass bottle out of it.
I prefer it cold and in a glass bottle.

Glass bottles. It taste the best that way for some reason. It's probably a mental thing, but there's nothing quite as good as an ice cold soda in a glass bottle on a hot day that lets out that little bit of cold smoke when you pop the metal lid off.
Unfortunately, buying soda in glass bottles is the most expensive way to buy it, so it's extremely rare that I get to drink it that way. It's almost always in a aluminum can.
Glass would've been on top, but like you said DMKA, they're too expensive.
Nowadays when you find glass bottles, it's pop that's Hencho en Mexico.
I don't really drink soft-drink, if I do its when I get fast food, so I guess fountain.

None of these options, actually. It inexplicably tastes way better if I just pour it into a glass and drink it from that.
Failing that, fountain is my preference I suppose.

bottle are my favorite. And among them glass bottles always seemed special to me.
