Yes.
Yes I would.
Yeah basically Gideon Emory has an amazing voice and everything he appears in is improved thanks to his sexy, sexy tones,
THIS IS NOW A GIDEON EMERY APPRECIATION THREAD

Oh my god, I just looked up Gideon Emery for the first time, and on top of his sexy, sexy voice, he's also a total DILF.
Somebody catch me whilst I swoon.

I know, right?
We already have a Balthier appreciation thread. It's Pumpkin's Character Tournament. :p
Balthier is a bloody pimp.
Awesome Airship.
Awesome Hoverbike.
Awesome girlfriend.
I do love him, but I feel the hype surrounding him has overshadowed many other aspects of XII that I love and feel that deserve more credit, like his amazing relationship with Fran (which some people even refuse to acknowledge for some reason :roll2) and just the general sweet and self-sacrificing nature of Basch.
But yeah, Balthier is awesome. Can I have his FFT outfit please?

He's actually...the most annoying character. I never realized how cringeworthy his random bits dialog about being "The Leading Man" were until my current playthrough.
Also he's ugly, but everyone in FFXII is ugly. (SPOILER)Besides Cid. :p
Ummmmm he's literally the best part of the entire game, along with Fran. You can get out.
FFXII is the best game ever (pending a Super Mario Maker playthrough). :mad2:
I found FFXII to be incredibly forgettable. Fun to play, but nothing memorable about it... except for Balthier.
I suppose, if I really have to think hard about any flaws in FFXII, is that the main story does rise and fall like a wave. Your main journey legs are fairly mediocre. The Sandsea is fairly forgettable, maybe even annoying, but then Raithwall's tomb was quite interesting. Your journey south to Mt. Bur-Omisace is only slightly better. The Garif were fun, and there was a small interlude with the Veira but it was dull at times. But then the events on the mountain were really interesting. Your trek north was pretty weak and long, but Archades was excellent.
In short, you could make an argument that the main plot brightens and dims. Certainly the 'travelling' parts were the weakest moments in the game.
